    Here is the current draft.

I've added a few extras including a general overview, a comment section for each boxer and a "ones to watch section". Feedback would be appriciated.

I am going to take out Jason McKay and replace him with A.N. Other - can I have your suggestions on who (and why) should replace him.

I will then to a reshuffle.

    cheers

    Pretty good work!

I think talent-wise McCloskey is a lot better than Duddy and will overtake him in the list soon.

Good list although if you have Macklin then surely Jamie Moore should be on there as he's half Irish and won an Irish Title.

Fury, Lee and Macklin consider themselves Irish - Moore doesnt. Thats the logic behind that decision.

Spike is on the "Knocking on the door" list and it was a toss up between him and Fury to replace Jason McKay.

Moore won an Irish Title. That should qualify him for a place no?

LI think I've clarified the position in that regards. Moore is proud of his Irish roots but doesnt consider himself Irish - the other do.

Fellow poster on here Jeff Thomas fought for an Irish title and is proud of his Irish roots (which are identical to Moores) but he aint Irish either. :good

Macklin has two Irish parents and spent a lot of his time growing up in Ireland.
Moore does indeed have an Irish mother and has won the Irish title but his primary nationality is certainly English despite him being proud of his Irish routes.

I wouldn't have Fury in there, he failed to be allowed to compete in the Irish National Champion because he couldn't prove he was Irish !
Not to mention he's done no more than Jason McKay or Eddie Hyland to be ranked anyway.

    Exactly he's Dutch.........

Fury fought for Ireland as an amateur and was living in Ireland at the time. Thats gives him as much right as Macklin and Lee to be on the list in my opinion. His auld fella couldnt produce his mothers birth cert from the Galway records office after McMonagles club objected - supposedly there was a fire a couple of decades ago at the office and it destroyed a lot of the records.

Anyway back to the list! :good

I don't know why I'm bringing this up, but I'd love to see the Hyland brothers fight the Walsh brothers on the same bill.

They are all around the same weight after all aren't they?

Great shout. I think the Hylands would paste the Walshs.

It could be for a trio of Irish titles as well because I think that Walshs qualify

Good list, Byrne should be a little higher and Fury shouldn't be there but other than that very good
