3 Legends who dodged noone, but for reasons out of their hands some potential opponents did no meet them in the ring. Tyson George Foreman (in early 1990's) is the big name I would have love to have seen. I suspect Tyson on points as I doubt he would have blown the big man away. Buster Douglas II (in 91) would have given him the chance of revenge and would have been similar to the Holyfield v Douglas fight. Lewis Riddick Bowe (straight after Ruddock)- Obvious, no need to discuss further on this forum V Klitchko II - within a year of the 1st fight W Klitschko - If 2nd Vitali fight went Lewis's way, and a perfect finale Holyfield I would actually like to take names off his record rather than add potential new names. I wish he had stopped after the first Ruiz fight. I cannot actually think of names to add which would cause any buzz.

Lennox Lewis actually didn't fight the best fighters in his era... in the 90's or the turn of the century. It was always a bit frustrating. The top fighters of the 90's where Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Riddick Bowe, Michael Moorer, and George Foreman. Lewis didn't fight any of them while they were at their peak in the 90's. Then, after Lewis ended up beating the faded Holyfield and becoming recognzied Champ for the first time... he didn't fight his Ring Mag #1 contender of over 2 years Wladimir Klitschko. He also dropped his WBA title so he didn't have to fight his #1 Challenger Ruiz... and then dropped his IBF title so that he didn't have to fight his #1 Challenger Byrd. Ike Ibeabuchi would have also been nice... there were just so many top challengers overlooked as he went ahead with fights against the previously exposed Michael Grant... Frans Botha after Tyson had just knocked him out... David Tua which was a good defense... Then he was knocked out by Rahman, won his titles back.... then a horribly washed up Mike Tyson.... and then we all know the situation with his fight against Vitali.... then retirement after another 8 months of sitting on his title, avoiding the Vitali rematch and trying to sue Mike Tyson back into the ring. Lewis only fought 2 times in his last 27 months as Champion. He left MANY stones unturned in his career. He never even fought a Southpaw.
Jones would have lost to all 3 except perhaps a shot Tyson. Hell Ray Robinson could bulk up to 190 and take out Ruiz. Tyson and Lewis vs Bowe would have been awesome. Tyson - Tua also.
Tyson vs Foreman in the early 90's would have been a huge huge moneymaker but not much of a fight. Everyone would have liked to have seen Bowe-Lewis. I agree with an earlier post, I cant really think of anyone to add to Holyfield (except maybe Tua but that wouldnt have been the war that Tua-Tyson would have been) except I would have liked to have seen Holyfield get to fight Tyson pre-prison.
You got it all wrong, Jones was branded like Ali after his win on Ruiz..I was leaning with Roy to win a UD to win over Tyson then.
Think I read here that because of what D'Amato told Tyson, he was scared to fight Foreman. Obviously D'Amato never envisioned Big George coming back, let alone being a major contender.
Thats what I heard..I guess it has something to do with what Cus telling a young Mike that Frazier"s style would never win against Foreman. And Mlke knew his aggressive style and similar size is somehow that of Frazier"s although not totally stylewise.
