he was out of the ring for 2 damn near 3 years ... now people cry and boo hoo over how being out of the ring hurt tyson.. and ali .. and other fighters like that .. and how they were able to over come it ..

yet kirkland dosn't get this same respect... the man fell off track at an extreamly sensative time to be falling off track but he's came back and he's going straight up the rankings despite it! ...

i think we need to stop and give this kid some more respect then what we're giving him because he's truly earned it .. he's had a hard life ..he's come out of it .. and now he's on the road to a title shot ..that takes balls

lol... i agree with you but you make this thread as if people are bashing kirkland for being a ***** or something..

i think everyone agrees that kirkland is a badass who will probably be vunerable to a good boxer

he is wreckless and hell though... and he has to know it..

i think he gets to wrapped up into literally ABUSING his opponent.. instead of taking his time and letting the fight come to him... he kinda just rushes the whole process.. it might take him getting knocked out to learn that

heres the piece on him last night during the fight

    Exactly.

If he was out of the ring for 2 years it's his own damn fault.

    Stupid *****.

I don't hear anyone bashing on his inactivity, so I don't really know what you're talking about. His biggest detriment right now is that he has Ann Wolfe as a trainer, and I'm sorry, but that ain't cutting it. That ***** used to plod around the ring like a mummy constantly looking for the KO with one punch... and it's a direct reflection of how she's teaching Kirkland to fight.

Kirkland has some obvious natural talents, but he needs a world class trainer to teach him how to break a man down the right way instead of going in there and getting his face bashed in until his opponent collapses from the pressure. That **** is not going to cut it against the better boxers at 154.

the point i'm making .. if you over confrontational alfa nut cases would shut the **** up and listen .. is that yes he's wreckless ..yes he's got issues..but the man is making a career out of nothing when lesser people would have fell through the cracks...

that takes guts ... it takes nerves to do what he's doing .. he could obviously make just as good of money selling dope or running numbers in a low life area ..but instead he's busting his ass and working for it ...

something some of you would know absolutly nothing about ..obviously
