So Kirkland seems to be falvour of the weekend after his recent victory.

How do you think Kirkland would get on over WBO champ Dzinziruk ?

In my opinion Dzinziruk is one of the most underrated fighters on ESB. He's a great technician, has wins over Julio and Daniel Santos.

Dzinziruk by a lopsided decision. Kirkland might have a few moments, but I'd take Dzinziruk easily. Something like 117-111, 118-110.

Sergei. I hope he gets a good break through fight for him and Kirkland could be to him what Lacy was to JC.

Dzinziruk is the kind of fighter who's the most impressive when he's facing the biggest threat. He can handle pressure and punching power quite well, and he has a very good punch to get your respect and think twice about rushing in. He's a tough SOB, I see it very difficult for any 154-er to beat him.

With that said, Kirkland is physically stronger and puts on more pressure than anyone Sergiy has ever faced, altough certainly not the quickest opponent of the Ukranian. But Dzinziruk is defensively more sound than anyone Kirkland ever faced, and also an excellent counter-puncher and with very good timing. And JK offers a hell lot of openings and little head movement to avoid crisp counters. At this point I see Dzinziruk putting on a boxing lesson, but maybe JK can work on the speed and defense a bit better, so in 2 years, it could be a whole difference situation.

    Dzinziruk by average UD.

Nobody has the heart to go 12 rounds with Kirkland. Dzinziruk would probably be winning on points put the preesure will make him give in.

    I'm guessing not.

Dzinziruk is the last dude he should be in there with. The scorecards wouldn't be pretty. Sergei massive UD.

Dzinziruk biggest fights were vs the guy that Kirkland distroyed last night, and Santos, he didnt look that strong in those fights...I must admitt that I only saw about 6 rounds of the fight with Santos, and what I saw in those six rounds and the 12 with julio is a guy that will have alot of trouble with the style of Kirkland, its a fight that reminds me alot of Andrade vs Stieglitz, I also think that the outcome would be the same....Only fighters that are at 154 now that stylewise would have be alot of problems for Kirkland is Martinez, Williams, and believe it or not Cory Spinks. I think the rest would fall...Now with that being said I dont think that Kirkland is that good of a fighter, I have said it several times that he reminds me alot of lacy with more heart and alittle better skills. Its just that Jr middle is pretty weak right now.
