Kirklands next fight should be against Kermit Cintron or Angulo

Didn't rate either Angulo or Kirkland as serious challenges to the best, but Kirkland has just had a very good win over Julio so I'm more of a believer now.

Honestly, Kirkland would DESTROY Angulo, who has poor handspeed, average power, and not a great chin by the looks of it.

Is Williams still the interim WBO champ? If so, Kirkland must surely be high up in the WBO's shocking ratings???

After Winky, WIlliams vs. Kirkland would be an exciting fight to make, and would tell us a lot about boith guys (Williams' chin at the higher weights, Kirkland's ability to deal with some who isn't going to let him be stupid)

I only made the querie about Williams' belt as it then gives a 'reason' for the fight. Williams vs. 'Dangerous Prospect' isn't worth a toss, but as a defence of his title he might think it worth the risk.

Not saying WIilliams would/should be afraid of Kirkland by the way.

Anyways, he needs to get by Winky first (I think he will, be decision)

Julio has had like 20 fights over the 147 pound limit. He had struggled for a long time with his weight he is 5'10 & 1/2. At 24 years of age he weighed 167 pounds on fight night for a 154 pound show. There is really no logic behind stating he is too small for 154.

Cosme rivera was too small to be fighting angulo at 154. on fight night Cosme weighed 150 and anglo was 165. that is too small, a welterweight fighting a middle. Kirkland would knock Anglo out in 6. Anglo doesn't have the tools to beat Kirkland his style plays right into kirklands advantages. and if you don't see the handspeed differnce your blind.

and came back like floyd too :rofl

really though, anybody picking an absolute winner needs to take their heads out their bootyholes....kirkland has been dropped, and hurt on many occasions...angulo has been wobbled once by gutierrez, so to say kirkland would take him out early is not far fetched, but you gotta say the same for angulo, which is why i say it's a pick'em fight....angulo's slow hands will not make a difference caust it off sets speedy guys with no defense like kirkland......

Angulo mixes it up very well and has superior conditioning and punch output. I don't see Kirkland backing El Perro up, and even in moving backwards, Julio was managed to land 40% of his power punches. Angulo wins by decision or breaks him down via body punches in a FOTY candidate.
