Could a totally focussed prime Naseem Hamed have been able to compete with any of these masters in their prime - Morales, Marquez, Pacquiao, Barrera?

Who do you think he could have beaten? Who do you think would have destroyed him? How do you see the fights going?

i think he would get beaten by all four but would always have a punchers chance.

    At 126 right?

He'd certainly compete. I feel Marquez and Morales would beat him handily, probably 8-4 or so, Barrera perhaps a bit closer but probably still wins, something like 7-5. Pacquiao I honesty give Naz a great chance against, I'd take him to stop Pacman over 12.

I think they'd all beat him. They would all be able to hit him and his average workrate and penchant for losing points on knockdowns would spell doom against the legends. He would almost have to win by KO and all of those guys would walk through a WWI trench to win.

A prime NAz can compete with all four but has the best chance against a green Pacman at 122-126... He has a real good puncher's chance against an unrefined Pacman and it wouldn't shock me at all if he knocked him out.

Sure. Pac wasn't hard to find back then, and if Naz found him then forget about it. But i did say "in their prime" ;)

People love to hate on Naz so I expect that most people will pick Naz to lose but I am amazed out how underrated he is becoming.

I don't think a 'prime' Naseem Hamed beats any of those guys. I think Morales would have shattered his Glass Jaw all over the place by brutal KO. The rest all UD him.

I think the Naz that beat Tom Johnson would have been a handful but yeah, I can see Morales and Marquez beating him. Pacman and Barrera would have been tough fights but I can see Naz's power coming through.

  10. A prime Naz could Beat all four and lose to all four.

4 fantastic fighters who on there night could all beat each other imho

  11. Glass jaw :huh

When does a guy who has never been close to getting KO'd become Glass Jawed

Well Pac hit his prime at 130 and Naz never fought there so how can we speculate?

But a prime Marquez, Morales, and Barrera at 122-126 all beats him... Marquez was a defensive minded counter puncher in his prime at 126 and he would outbox naz silly.. He would win a lopsided decision..

Barrera would box and pick his spots just like he did in 01... Same result

Morales has the tendency to brawl and I think he would knock hamed out.. If morales had a bad chin, i would be worried, but his chin is top notch so i would pick him by KO... MOrales wouldn't just outbox hamed, but he would catch him with hard uppercuts when hamed leaps in like a leopard... Hamed gets KTFO..

Barrera beat the **** out of that "glass jaw" to little effect. Are you a double glazing salesman?

The prime Naz is vs. Steve Robinson for his first world title. Check it out on youtube, he was an unstoppable tornado in the ring that night.
