I get hyped for these sort of bouts where there are so many intangiables. Khans seems to be doing the right training and coming into the bout with the right strategy. Khan will keep his distance. Every time MAB steps in, Khan will respond quick and step off. Speed kills.

It's a dangerous fight and I'm supporting Khan because he is British.

Khan, in all probability. I hate to say it, but (I mean "however") it's the truth.

Khan's power is underrated. If he has so little power, how come all of his opponents fight out of a shell, often willing just to cover up on the ropes and get stopped against him? Why have so many boxers been so timid against him?

I don't think Khan carries huge power in his individual punches, but there has to be something going on in those combinations that affects his opponents that way. Will he KO Barrera? Very unlikely, but he'll probably get Barrera to fight in a cautious (and disappointing) way.

He doesn't actually need to KO Barrera. Only briefly stun him and back him up onto the ropes. The ref will stop it quickly, Khan has those arm punching flurries that look deceptive, as if hes doing a lot of damage. Plus Barrera is 35, the ref will be mindful of his long career.

Grant1 & Selfkill - That's what concerns me in this one. I'm all for a fair stoppage and putting a boxer's well being first, but sometimes an onslaught can look worse than it actually is and a lot of British refs (and as mentioned - especially on a Warren bill against a Warren fighter) may be a little too eager to stop the action if Khan lets his fists fly.
We've already seen that some British referees go all out to give Khan every chance - the fight against Prescott should have been stopped before the second knock down and if it was anyone else but Khan I'm pretty sure most would have stopped it.

But if Barrera has anything in the tank reminiscent of his wars with Morales, then there's going to be hell firing back at Khan anyway!

Barrera by early KO. Man against boy, even if the boy is bigger.

im picking khan win, too fast for MAB and too big,

the only way i see MAB winning is if his punch power improves (like marquez's seems to) with weight. then i trust he will cover up when khan throwns his fast punches and he'll use a counter right with a vicious uppercut to knock him the **** out.

    Barrera KO8

Khan to start strong, but Marco to later drag him into deep water and drown him. If Barrera still has good timing and accuracy on his punches, and his reflexes and punch resistance haven't gone to ****, then he should be too smart for Khan; unless he gets pulled out on a stupid flurry stoppage that is.

It all comes down to what state Barrera is in. If Barrera is shot, Khan wins. If he isn't shot, Khan loses.

I think a Khan UD is the most likely outcome.

    I'm indifferent either way.
