You'll have to hit Kirkland with the right punch ... name 1 154 pounder that would beat him?

I think he will blow through the super welterweight division --

I think Paul Williams size and volume could neutralize his pressure style. I don't think kirkland could KO PW either.

This kid from Cuba could probably do it. Erislandy Lara has great handspeed and power. You need power and speed to be able to keep a guy like Kirkland off. Maybe Demetrious Andrade as well. Theres a lot of up and coming young talents in this weight class.

his style is nothing like Lacy's , you are probably only saying that because they both are Americans and have similar builds.

Lara and Andrade are way too inexperienced at the pro level to put in there with Kirkland or to even accurately project how they would do against Kirkland in the future.

Lara has a terrific amateur background. Yeah he's a prospect so is Kirkland.

I would label Kirkland as a contender, not a prospect. He's been a pro for several years and has 25 pro fights. He's also ranked in the top 10 be every org as well as ring magazine

Kirkland also has more power p4p than Diaz, Diaz is generally a volume puncher.

Yeah I'll give you that... although that ain't saying much. Juan couldn't crack an egg with his best punch... and like i said before, this thread is a horrible comparison between two very distinctively different fighters.

I didn't even think about Paul Williams ... he is the best 154 lb fighter in the world ...
