Katsidis was doing a good job with Casamayor who was having fits with Mikes style and pushed Diaz all the way.

OK so both times MK has stepped up to true world class he has been beaten but Khan got sparked by a no one and the Barrera fight is a 50/50 fight.

Mikes pressue and power would be 2 much for Khan at this stage but if he beats MAB impressivly and has a couple more learning fights who knows how hed fare but the punch resistance will always be a worry against anyone with a decent punch and MK has that.

There are no flukes when it comes to having no chin. So when you see you haven't seen that "real" amir khan .... ummmhellobutexcuseme, that IS the real Amir Khan.

Katsidis by KO, no doubt. Amir is a better boxer than Katsidis, but Michael's punch is the equalizer in this fight.

Katsidis stopped Earl aswell though,Khan looked big against Earl, got lucky really as it turned out, as soft hitter Willie Limmond gave him a visit to the canvas. So on that score Kats wouldn`t have too much problem smacking his brittle chin.Ko for Katsidis in 5.

You're clueless.... its not just Americans you fool... pretty much everyone here recognizes the fact that Amir Khan has absolutely no chin... he has been wobbled or dropped by feather fisted guys.... In Presscotts last fight we saw that he doesn't really even have a lot of one punch power, Khan was knocked out cold in the amateurs with a helmet and 16 oz gloves... the guy is good, and fun to watch, but you just cannot make it in this sport with a chin like that, unless you become some sort of defensive mastermind and never take shots.

khans a big guy and although he'll never have a granitte chin, he could be one of those boxers who's chin improves when he moves up in weight, a bit like cotto. although they hit that much harder at 140.

He's a contender that gets a lot of media and Katsidis is a very exciting fighter. I think this would be a good fight and a good name on the resume of both guys.

I'd say he is. He is huge for a lightweight. I thought his last fight would be his last at lightweight.

Kats by KO for me. Anyone using the Earl fight as a measuring stick should look at how much the Kats fight took out of Earl. Before Kats he was beat a very good fighter in Romanov. Then Kats wrecked him. Amir beat him with a 1st round KO which would have been impressing had Henry Castle not done it in Earls next fight.

Perhaps, but this fight isn't really being talked about, I'm just curious.

I think I heard Roach say something about Khan moving up, but I'm not sure. Do you remember hearing anything about it?

If Khan won't be able to finish off Kats within the first six rounds . . . he is going to be pummeled to submission in the later rounds.

Take note that Katsidis was already having his way with Casa and was well on his way to win by points when Casa caught him with that devastating punch that ended the fight.

Katsidis . . . by points or stoppage in the later rounds.:yep
