Peter would not have been Champ in any other era, he beat an old washed Maskiev who was never good enough to be champ in his peak days, Peter is not that good as he is overweight, lazy and 1-demensional.

You just aren't using reason. If there were 4 titles being tossed around in every other era... and the WBC title was being dropped and passed around like a hot potato like it had been before Maskaev got it... Sam Peter could have easily won a title in any other era as well. Maskaev isn't even a top 10 heavyweight right now. Which is why people need to ignore the WBC and the WBA title at this time because the only true Champion is Wladimir Klitschko. If there was only 1 title in the world right now, Wlad would have it and Sam Peter never would have won it in this era either.

You're the one not using reason here, first of all There is NO HW Champ until 1 of these guys unifies the big 3, #2 Why should the WBA and WBC be ignored but not the other 2, WBOGUS is and has always been a POS title,as for the IBF, Chris Byrd was never the man he should've lost to Oquendo and Golota before being KTFO 1st by Wlad and then by Povetkin and George. #3 Wlad at his peak lost to an out of shape 38 yr old golfer and a limited journeyman level guy in Brewster, who had already been beat by Etiene and Shufford. Aside from the Klit Bros, Haye, Povetkin and maybe Chagiev the rest of these guys are garbage.

nope. sorry, ike HAD to take it to tua because he DOESNT have the skill not to. Get it right, ike didnt fight tua's fight, he fought his fight, and most felt he lost. ike is a swarmer, guess what he did this fight? he swarmed. the more i think of this guy, the more i think of a weaker, higher work rate version of ross purity, hardly greatness.

oh yeah, rahman wouldve boxed the guys ears off.

I followed Ike's career the whole time he was with Curtis Cokes in Dallas. I saw him practically every day. There was NEVER a time when Ike wanted to quit lol
He totally outboxed a prime Tua, then nearly decapitated Chris Byrd.
Ike would have been the natural to carry on Lewis legacy. Would he beat a prime Lewis?? good question He'd have both
    Klitschkos for lunch.
When you claim he's mentally unstable just remember that he spent 14 months under heavy sedation over that supposed attack on a hooker without being charged. That would affect anyone mentally What happened to Ike was a travesty of justice

Somehow, you managed to get your ENTIRE post wrong? Weaker, higher workrate version of Russ Purity? Rahman would've boxed his ears off? When did Rahman ever box ANYONE'S ears off?

All post is a crap. Almost died in a ring with Tua. Got lucky with Byrd.

Good luck... with todays boxing politics it may never happen again.. so to continue to use the "unification of the big 3" as a judge of a champion is a joke

I would love to know how people think Ike would have "ate the Klitschko's for lunch".:-( Nothing that Ike has ever done should lead anyone to believe that.

    Okey.
So you know about boxing, right?
What did you saw in 11th round of Ike-Tua? Don't you think that ike was EXTREMELY lucky that he survived?
What did you saw in Byrd fight? Don't you think that it was 4 rounds of total ownege and lucky punch in the 5th?
What did you saw in his fight with tall strong HW...... O WAIT.... there was not one.
He didn't deserve a position of the future king even remotely.

Maybe if Vitali wasn't around Wlad would have the chance to unify the titles. We will have an undisputed Champion again. I would agree that he is the champion, but what if Vitali picks up another belt by beating Valuev? Who's the champ then?
