Once again, this isn't the thread that started the argument.

The Mosley that fought Margarito. Floyd puts a beating on Cotto, landing cleanly and often.

    Floyd stops Pacquiao and Marquez.

A prime SSM would have the goods but at 37, i don't see it happening. PBF beats all the guys.

peak Mosley could win but not this version, the reason he looked good against Margo is that Margo is a very slow, limited ploder who throws very wide shots.

You're right. He is no Hatton. Hatton goes out on his back, Cotto goes out on a knee.

Didn't fight SSM cause SSM declined to fight him years ago. And even said that he would price himself out when he came back frim vacation by demanding at least 10 mil.

    Cotto said no in 2005

    Hatton said no in 2005

Margarito was a nobody and ppl wanted to see him fight Baldo anyways.

Pac was responding when PBF was disrespecting him publicly.

PW was unknown and at the time he wasn't that good.

i didn't say nothin bout ne1 else i said Cotto, Cotto was green and having weight issues, plus the fight generally didn't make since sense the timing was all bad seeing as the fight would make for much better money down the line....as in 08, when Mayweather was the WW Champ, and Cotto was the #1 WW, and he just came off a win over Mosley, that's when the fight made sense, and thats when everyone wanted it, and of course Floyd new that if he stuck around this fight would have to take place, so he ran, i mean retired, fact is....if Floyd thought he could beat Cotto, he would of fought him, especially since it would of been a great win at the time and it would of money alot of money, Cotto was a top P4P fighter, and an undefeated WW coming off a big win over Mosley, not to mention stopping Judah who he got dropped by and took to the distance

he ducked Cotto.....and it's just like you said, i'm sure he would fight a green Cotto, that doesn't surprise any1, but once he established he was neither killing him self to make weight, nor just "another titleholder" he wanted no part of him, which is why he ran, oops my bad...keep forgeting, he "retired"
