Zab Judah would batter him. I mean come on, Marquez is not exactly a defensive master, he takes alot of punches even though he dishes it out lets not get too excited because of what he done to , Diaz, Diaz fought a non intelligent fight and was just storming in, leaving himself to get countered left right and center. If Zab connected one and made sure he followed up I cant see Marquez shaking it off. Zab is not Diaz. He's can pop, weight and size would have a lot to do with this too.If this goes past 8 rounds then Marquez might have a chance

You have a point...Zab has more power than near feather-fisted JD but Zab has conditioning problems, he tends to lose it in the 2nd part of the fight..

He does indeed but I think if Zab was fighting Marquez, Marquez I feel would probably be the one having to make the fight because I can see Zab sitting back and sort of waiting on Marquez to come in so he could try to counter. The counter puncher would be getting countered. I think at 140lbs Zab should be able to carry himself better and he may have been fighting at 147lbs with that added 7lbs which wasn't doing him any favours. 7lbs would make a lot of difference the longer the fight went on. But your right the longer the fight went, if Zab stepped off the pace just a little bit Marquez would catch up with him. Marquez will get stopped by somebody soon because he takes too many punches, if Diaz was a big puncher Marquez would have been taking a 10 count. I think a lot of people on here get excited because we finally get to see a crowd pleasing fight and they are still in ore but I tend to not get drowned out by the hype after the fight. The fact is Marquez takes too many punches and always seems to get hurt early so if he faces a big puncher it would be curtains for him.

 

zab still has his speed and that uppercut that comes out of nowhere, I cant see marquez taking shots like that.

imho JMM has pushed it about as far as he can push it weight wise, and Zab would be a bigass 140 lb fighter. I think he could seriously kick some ass at 140 but everyone always thinks Judah is about to kick some ass, until he doesn't lol

Zab is a little too small to compete with the big guns at 147 but he gave most of them a good fight. I think he can still make a lot of noise at 140.
