He's probably hoping Khan wins to set up a full WBO title fight against AAA

If khan wins and hatton loses. It will set up one of the biggest british superfights ever. I think warren is salivating over this already.

I don't know if Hatton would want any part of Frank Warren ever again.....

Plus Arthur and Khan are both on his Sports Network books which lives for the WBO

Amir moving up to 140 would be a mistake due to punch resistance

on 1 hand, you would be led to think that warren would not give up his cash cow. On the other, the prospective profit might beckon warren to cash out his chips, and work on a more marketable prospect.

No one will be able to hurt Khan at 140. The only reason his chin appears bad at the moment is because of the weight.

    Completely disagree.

Khan has been decked by fighters moving up in weight from 130lbs. If he can't handle their punches what chance does he have against a geniune 140lb fighter?

Speed equals power. Fighters moving up in weight often find that the punch power is more effective. Likewise a fighter who moves up will have more fluid around the brain which willreduce the concussive effects of punches.

Think about it. Amir Khan age 17/18 fights in the ABA's at 10st.... Four years later, his body has grown but he's fighting at 9st 9lbs. In the ABA's he fought Craig Watson and Steve Williams. Watson is now a big Welter and Williams boxes at light middle/welter.... I think a move up is long overdue.... I would not be suprised if post Barrera he moves up. If he had of fought Barrera at light welter he'd be crucified by those in the know.

Obviously neither of us will be proved right or wrong for a while but I think that even an average 140 will knock Khan sparko. His chin is just too big to miss. His weak chin, in my opinion, is not due to boiling down to make weight but because of his facial structure...

    Facial structure-care to explain?

I thought it was due to his brain moving around when he get hits near the temple area

I have been trying to make this point for a long time, the guy is weight drained and I really dont how he makes the weight, thats why he trains like a freak. I really dont know the science but it must not be helping his chin, and even his power.

He's suspect.... A move to 140 will not give him a chin like Marvin Hagler, but look at the punches that put him down.....

[YT]8qBRAmjDXWU[/YT] Shot to the top of the head.

[YT]62lvnZGv6-o[/YT] Two rights to the top of the head.

[YT]CNudnC1B_cw[/YT] Sorry about the vid, but where does the punch land?

[YT]fDHHuouXICo&feature=related[/YT] Left hook to the forehead starts it all....

    I know my ****

I know what I said goes against what most people would say. I'm fully aware that the scientific arguement gives more weight to your arguement but there's just something about Khan's head that isn't right to me but I can't put my finger on it.

As I say above, however, I know your argument has more support in it's favour than mine which is strictly based upon gut feeling.

Its a scientific FACT that been dehydrated makes you more susceptable to being knocked out.
