roy jones still had decent power even at 39 against the welshman but even a forearm to the face didn't stop calzaghe

but yeah.....similar fight to the Toney fight but with Joe winning 2 rounds more than lights out due to workrate

    but UD for RJJ

how about at light heavy? the jones at super-middle was inhuman but what about the jones who harlem globetrottered richard hall and toyed with him or the jones that unified against johnson? that jones seems slightly more beatable...who does it? (based on STYLE not necessarily greatness)

a prime hopkins would out point him. Hopkins won 4 rounds against him when he was green.

i'll admit that at middle it's possible. keep in mind that as a pro, Jones wasn't that much more experienced. But a prime Hopkins might find spots to counter punch and he has tricks to nullify his speed advantage. I'd still give jones the edge but not by that much

Right, Jones was the P4P King and the WORLD Champion. I dont think that mean he needs to search for challenges. Benn, Eubank and the rest should have come to the states if they wanted Jones. By them not doing so tells me they were ascared.

    Benn feared nobody

Eubank was in it for the money

Collins wanted him (although would have been soundly beaten)

    Michelcheski should have fought him

mike mcallum gave him plenty of problem at 175 at 160 against a young mccalum it could be a closer affair not saying he'd win,
Michael Nunn on his best night has a decent shot at jones at 160
Hopkins of 2000 has a nice chance at 160
Matthew Saad Muhammad at 175 would give him hell too

At 160-168 he beats anyone in boxing history. At 175 several beat him Spinks, Foster just to name a few

Maybe Benn didnt fear him but he should have come here to challenge him. Saying you want to fight Jones in a post fight interview is not the same as coming to the states, fight a tune up or too and then challenge the champion. Ala Ricky Hatton..vs Maywether

benn did need to do more. he travelled to fight barkley, he could have travelled to fight jones. course he probably wanted to tear eubanks head off more...

at 168 joe cal has the best chance out of anyone.
prime JC vs prime RJJ is going to go the distance but i can see a 7-5 or 8-4 win for RJJ but i can easily see it going the other way and JC winning by the same distance
