Well, he's not Jesus but he's better than you think he is Cash. You thought Julio was going to beat him down.
I moved up a notch and i don't that no more.. I have my boys handling that now.. Capos like myself lounge in the office and post on ESB..
I did I admit I was wrong and it cost me some money as well. But I think if Julio actually grew a sack and stood him ground for a full round and layed into Kirkland a few times the fight may have went the other way. Julio fought like a complete *****. Kinda shocking for someone with the power he has.
Don't get your balls all in a jingle just because you picked Julio to win and Kirkland steamrolled him. What do you have against Kirkland, anyways? He's an exciting, albeit extremely raw, fighter -- something the sport in general is in desperate need of. He fills the Gatti gap quite nicely.
ESPN's headline on 11/23 was: "Hatton exorcises demons, erases memory of loss to Mayweather Jr." Is it a coincidence that demons were exorcised while Kirkland was on the undercard? Plus, a jail sentence interrupted his career, so this is his Second Coming. He says he's "a guy who came from nothing," which could be an Immaculate Conception... What's sad is that this makes more sense than when he compares himself favorably with Mike Tyson.
