Jorge Barrios pulls out of the lightweight tournament on 4/4

    and their looking for a replacement at the moment. Who would be a good choice of replacement?

    BTW Barrios injured his JAW during sparring... how ironic.. lol

    Its a shame but there was good chance that someone would get pulled out after months of training. Just glad its not Casa, Katsidis or Valero

    It's barely a tournament, just a lightweight card.

    I mean Valero is fighting Pitalua for the WBC belt so it's hardly a tournament like he has to beat one of the other guys to get a shot first.

    Yeah but Pitulo is coming of a win over Santa Cruz who was just a notch below the elite. Still i shoulden't base how good he is from one fight, as Cruz might have had a good stlye for him. But still he'st on good form which makes him Valero's first test (i think)

    Romanov could be great as a replacement. He could have been fighting Diaz for an IBF title and Casamayor could have been re-scheduled vs. Hernandez...

    What about Vicente Escobedo i think hes with GBP and he is fighting Kevin Kelly on 4/30 so he is already training?

    bobby lost that fight but got the win. they should give famoso the chance to get his win back. the fight wouldnt mean **** though it could be a competitive one
