Benn and Eubank were not nearly as big of a draw that Jones was. Ali has nothing to do with RJJ. McClellan would have been schooled by Jones at 168. All the G-Man had was a great chin and power and that's not enought to beat Jones.

I think a neaderthal possibly beats him or whatever other evolved or devolved primate might have a chance, but I don't think any homo sapiens beat him.

Who called him Reluctant Roy? Idiots I assume. And Yes my logic makes perfect sense. As the Champion and P4P king, there was no reason for him needing to seek opponents in other countries. WHY CANT THEY COME HERE??????? WHY RICO, WHY?????????

He's was the man, if they wanted to beat the man, they should have come knockin on his door.

Yes that is enough to beat Jones. GMan would have shattered that Glass Jaw all over the place. Who were the 4 biggest punchers Jones ever faced?

Jones was no draw his HBO PPV #'s were horrible. The only time he had good PPV #'s was the Ruiz fight which people bought for the circus atmosphere surrounding the fight and the Trinidad fight which were mostly Puerto Rican's buying that. Don't come on here and act like Roy was a huge draw he wasn't.

A prime Michael Nunn would have given him a good run for sure.

And so would Calzaghe who'd be a difficult fight for anybody with that unique style.

HBO the network he was fighting on. Do you even watch Boxing?

Pound 4 Pound status means nothing. It is mythical and fantasy. There is no Pound 4 Pound title.

You seem to be missing the point here. If the greatest of all time was not too good to go to other countries to fight than neither was Glass Jaw Roy Jones.

    :good

No it's not. Name a fighter with those attributes that can beat a prime Jones. You can't because nobody has ever beat a prime Jones.

Prior to the Ruiz fight Jones might of had a Granite chin for all we know.

You simply go by the post-ruiz (shot version) and say he has a glass jaw. you dont know **** dude. your a joke.

Why the hell are people bringing up Calzaghe? :rofl:rofl

I say that the same guy I said would beat Hopkins could possibly beat RJJ: Gerald McClellan (at 160-168 )

I can't name them because Jones handpicked his fights hence the reason I asked you to name in your opinion the 4 biggest punchers Jones fought.

    P4P mean nothing huh?:-:)-:)-(

And no, your missing the point. What does Ali have to do with this argument. Great, Ali traveled. He was also a draft dodger. Who the **** cares. We're talking about Jones here and the reason for him not having to travel. I made my point - and you'll never see it.

    Keep on hatin playa!:good

he was knocked down by Lou Del Valle well before the Ruiz fight. We know his Chin was not and never was granite.

As far as me being a joke that is your opinion. That is what these discussion forums are about posting opinions and discussion about fights.

None. Hopkins would have a better chance if they fought when they both peaked. But overall, I'd favor RJJ over all of them. As much as I like Dawson, he wouldn't be able to do it.
