"This isn't a case of a young fighter on the way up taking advantage of a big name on the way out or two old timers cashing out with a big payday. This is a real fight," Hennessy said. "You've got two of the world's finest fighters, both at the peak of their powers and out to prove that they are amongst the best pound for pound fighters in the world."

I was worried there'd be no hype for this fight...but I was wrong!:happy

If Ricky beats Pacman and Froch beats Taylor, we could end up seeing the domestic showdown we've all been waiting for, for the p4p title: Froch v. Hatton, at Nottingham Forest FC, in front of 90,000 fans.

...Calzaghe will be spinning in his grave!:deal

In truth, this fight will need all the hype it can get to attract a decent crowd into the arena. Sad but true...:conf

...not sure how many Brits will afford to go over, but it would be nice to see Froch have a bit of support there...:good

    Froch by TKO.

This should be like the pascal fight, just with taylor showing a better defence, but a weaker chin...

Same here. Didn't like him when he was beating on Robin Reid, but felt sympathy for his fights constantly falling through (Inkin I believe?) and then seen his performance against Pascal where he showed a lot of guts and character which converted me into a fan.

Could stop with the constant name dropping of Calzaghe though.

Since when has Frochy become one of the finest fighters in the world? After he beat Jean Pascal for a vacant title right...the Canadian was barely top 10 but okay

Where does anyone say anything about P4P best by anyone involved in the fight???????

The winner of this fight goes into the top 15 P4P for me.

Hard to justify. I have Taylor at #23 on my list of 30 at the moment. A win for him would probably see him bump a couple of places (Bute is #21 so probably above him). If Froch wins I'll put him on my 'watching' list for future consideration for a top 30 place if he continues to impress.

Hennessey mentioned something along those lines.
