Morales lost to raheem base on style... not to mention it was at 135 which means morales haven't lost at 130 yet before his pac rematch.

    Less impressive? Bull****!

Pac KD and TKOed Morales... first time in his career! :nut
Ahead on points? you don't know ****! :patsch

Owned? PAC lost to Morales in a great battle... Morales won a close but clear decision it was just a 2 point difference in the judges scorecards. :deal

JMM lost to John was far more worst than pac's lost to ATG Morales. :good

People said things on both sides. So how is it a double standard if both guys got fair amounts of criticism as well as props?

Yup for many people Pac lost twice to Marquez but per records it was 1 draw and 1 draw in Pac's favor and for the majority of the people Pac won twice vs JMM.:good

Nah... pac always get's the flank more than JMM. Usually... JMM's criticisms are just reaction/retaliation to people hating on pac.

For the record... the judges in the casa vs sta cruz are not corrupt or incompetent!

"i like the results so the judges are not corrupt and incompetent"
    - some jmm fans

    regular boxing fans
" but obviously sta. cruz outboxed casa, do you think there was a mistake or some sort of robbery, incompetent judges perhaps?! "

"robbery your ass!!!! The judges aren't corrupt or imcompetent coz i like the results!!!!" I'll let you know when they are corrupt/incompetent!"

    :lol::D:lol:

    - some jmm fans

classic double standards right in your face!

Still no double standard. If you expect equal criticism and props, you're just setting yourself up to failure. Bottom line, BOTH guys get mad props and have their share of haters.

Pac has more popularity then JMM, is that a double standard? :huh Nope.

Both guys get criticized yes but far from being fair! Have you seen any post here criticizing JMM for beating old fighters the way Pac was criticized when in truth JMM had fought more old men than Pac did?:huh

I'm not asking for equal crticism... it's giving fighters their due credit.
You should tell that to the mexican fight fans. I'm sure they'll understand.

Failure? the fact that i haven't seen those people who were the main reason why this thread came about tells me that i'd made my point.

PAC is more popular coz of what he does inside the ring not to mention he is far more accomplished than JMM. Those were the reasons and not because his fans believes he's the second coming of Jesus.

Well, I remember some suggested that MAB was shot because of "ring age" but the consensus among Pac haters after the fight was Barrera was past prime when he was the massive favorite to win before the fight. It was one of Pac's most impressive victory because he was a huge underdog in that fight!

The first fight was a UD for Morales but the fight was competitive and far from what could be called "schooling". Morales win was aided by a headbutt which caused a deep cut over one of Pac's eyes and turned him into a one-eyed fighter for the majority of the fight. Morales was completely destroyed in the 2nd fight. Yes he was ahead by 2 pts after the first 6 rds because Pac obviously was not pouring it all following a fight plan. He stepped on the gas in the 7th and the rest was history.

No, JMM did not dominate in both fights. Both fights were close, please come to your senses! It is only in the eyes of "rational people" better known as JMM fans that JMM won both fights. In truth, JMM was gifted with a draw in the 1st fight via scoring error by one of the judges. It should had been a win for Pac. The 2nd fight was even at 6 rds a piece with Pac clinching the win because of the KD in the 3rd rd. Admittedly, it could had been a 7-5 win by JMM if not for the fateful KD because he was winning that round before the KD.
