Now that Roman Karmazin is NABF MW CHMP How long would he last in a fight w/Pavlik??

Roman's beard and how he reacts after getting hit is what let him down IMO..Pav's main assest is obviously his offensive abilities..Im not even sure this goes 10 but Karmazin is not to be written off. I think he brings skills to the power that Rubio, Miranda and Zertuche couldnt trouble Kelly with.
I think he has a better shot at winning over most of the guys Kelly has faced so far, even if it is still only pretty slim.

 

In a word No..not over Abraham, from a ozzie perspective Mundine and Geale, even Kessler or Froch..probably not even over Williams or David Lopez.
But if they are going to continue to feed us Gary Lockett's and Rubio's...Id much prefer Roman get a crack.

 

Nothing, decent euro level fighter, likable guy...he just shouldnt be challenging for titles. The results speak for themselves..poor Gazza.

 

He should stay the hell away from Angulo and Kirkland...But Williams could be interesting for him, he does well against busy southpaws.

 

It all depends on his current physical and mental conditions. If 100% up to the challenge Roman will be a hard task for Kelly Pavlik due to his style and toughness. Karmazin was sick with a terrible influenza during Bunema fight and it was the reason why he had suddenly gassed of the fight in later rounds. However, he can be different as he showed us against Kassim Ouma.

So if he is ready I'll go with 12 rounds for him against either Pavlik or Abraham, otherwise he could be stopped.

Btw, does one know anything about his next fight. I heard there were problems with putting up Playboy party with his fight against Miguel Espino.
