Swaby is a good opponent. His first southpaw, and he's a real awkward southpaw too.

He can hit a little also, ask Enzo.

Moving in the right direction, nice.
3 fights and Fury's ranked 103rd in the world... Got to love boxrec.

Whether you like Fury or not, atleast he believes in his skill as do his matchmakers, It's good to see a fighter matched so well early on, makes a nice change from fighting the Middletons and the McCaffertys of the world.

Second former Chisora opponent. Swaby is poo but Fury is 3-0 so someone like Swaby can give Fury the sort of work he needs (considering he is fighting often). 4th fight in as many months. Good work by Hennessey. I hope Fury keeps coming in lighter.

    Good points.

If he comes through this, he should fight Sexton ASAP, then fight Chisora if the fight can be made.

Prove himself as the best prospect, then fight the likes of Williams, McDermott, Harrison, then fight Rogan.

By then he will be about 15-0 and probably in good shape, and ready for the the top guys. Who knows who will be up there by then????

I rate Fury, I like his attitude, and think if he can take a half-decent shot he can do well.

Some people are unfairly blasting him, but at least he isn't like Khan, fighting bums every three months and saying he wants a World title shot. Fury is fighting regularly to get match fit and some experience, and wants the top domestic fighters. Khan seems desperate to get fast tracked to a World title mainly because he doesn't want to get exposed at domestic level (against Murray or Thaxton) before he gets a chance to pick up an easy belt.

I almost want him to beat Barrera in style and for a **** load of money to be offered to Marquez, just to see Dinamita spark him clean.

I like your plan of action. That progression is spot on.

Swaby is from my town and apparently he was due to be Fury's opponent for his debut but I think Fat Mick thought it would be too risky so pulled Swaby and put that Eastern block cruiser in with him instead. Anyhow it will be a decent test for Fury and can see it going the distance potentially

In his last fight Fury looked like he was trying to use faster hands and uppercuts more but his arms seemed too long........he is a giant though and once he finds his range and knows his fight game better he could be a beast

Fury will need a better defence than he showed against Peret with his Hamed impersonation.

Swaby has a bit of speed as an ex-cruiserweight and punches from strange angles.

I've heard he takes a very good shot....but he was very open in his last fight. Then again he knew he could get away with it. He is definitely exciting but doesnt need to rush.

This is not a bad match up for him and its astep in the right direction.Swaby should pose a far bigger threat than any of his previous opponents.

That was embarrasing, esp. after him telling us he was going to show us something we'd never seen before....:patsch
