Like you said, the contract is there for Haye to sign. Notice also how Haye keeps his mouth shut now.

It is ridicoulous that the Haye fans keep defending their man regarding this issue.

No, Haye is not ducking Wlad if he doesn't take the fight/offer. Haye doesn't even have to fight Wlad. Ducking a man is when you have to fight him, and you don't. Haye issued the challenge by moving up in weight, and talking smack to both Kliitschko brothers...so if he is not satisfied with the offer given to him by the champ, how can he be accused of ducking the champion???

Critics said the same thing about Juan Marquez when he refused to take Arum's take it or leave it offer. they said he ducked PAc to fight Chris John. Haye sees that the fight could be bigger than what he was offered probably.

So what the contract is there...if it is there. How do you even know Haye has shut his mouth? Haye might find Wlad's offer feeble. This is how negotiations go. Contracts aren't just drawn up, and one guy says, here is your pot, and here is mine, and they sign.

Me too. It's incredible isn't it? I'll never spend money on a lawyer again so long as I live. I'll just start a poll on here instead.

Er, yes he did. David Haye defended it against Enzo... Unless there is a boxer called Davey Haye, of course, who was Cruiserweight Champion of the World and never defended it...

The problem is that Haye DID agree to the terms... then he still didn't sign.

This not how negotiations go, in fact I have rarely seen negotiations last this long. After all this is not Holy-Tyson.

Generally, the longer negotiations last the less likely it is the fight comes off.

Wlad is such an unpopular champion that he has to offer Haye peanuts to make a fight is what I hear lol. He got so used to doing that with the weak comp he has been facing that he doesn't even recognize Haye as a big fight even if he thinks he will kill Haye. Either that, or he doesn't want to face Haye at all.

I doubt there is any ducking going on.Its a big money fight for both and i still think it will go ahead. Both sides are just trying to get the best deal possible and cant be blamed for that. Its annoying for us fans not knowing for sure if the fight is on or off but its all part of the game these days.Hatton v Pac was the same on off for months.

Get with the program, the terms were agreed to verbally before the contract was signed by Wlad & sent to Haye. Haye just changed his mind...........

I doubt there is any ducking going too. When negotiations break down, that usually means that more than likely...they couldn't agree on the money. There are other issues to consider as well.

Gee, you wouldn't be a bit biased would you? Both Klitschkos sell out arenas in Germany & have a decent showing here in the states as well. Face it, Haye is not the draw he thinks he is..............

No, but it appears you'll believe anything the Haye camp said.
