Huggerfree, I appreciate your addmission of personal bias for Quintana, but you are either blinded by your bias or just trying to stir crap up here with one of the most "grasping @ staws" posts that I have read here. Do you honestly think that Williams is ducking Quintana based on what has transpired since their last fight?

Since the 1st round KO, Willams has won 2 fights @ a higher weight and both opponents have solid winning records. Qunitana has won 1 fight in 9 months against a guy with a 14-15-1 record. These facts alone diminish justification of a rematch, and snuff out the question of Williams ducking Q. Williams would be a fool and wasting his earning opportunities by taking on Q. at this time

As it stands, noone will pay a decent amount of money for this fight. If Q. puts together a string of wins, grabs a belt or two, or becomes Williams mandatory, and Williams then opts. not to fight him, then bringing up the ducking topic would be justified.

Regarding Williams size. It does not matter to me, if he makes weight and wins, that's all that counts. Obviously he thinks pretty highly of his abilities because he's been moving up in weight. He's not proven enough to be called great fighter yet, but one thing that is greater about him than most is that he's putting himself in the mix among better and bigger competition and that will tell us alot more as his career unflods.

Common bruh . . . use a little of common sense. The rematch only lasted less than 1 round . . . why would PW push for a third fight while there are a lot of bigger fights around. Bigger money . . . bigger stature.

Didn't Williams gave Quintana a chance in the first fight? Williams didn't have to fight Quintana in the first fight but he did.

You say that "the fact of the matter is it's still 1-1" well Even though Jones loss by dq to Griffin, he still got L in his record so he and Griffin are 1-1. The same with Holyfield vs Moorer, Lewis vs Rahman, Wlad vs Brewster.

So again if Williams is ducking to fight Quintana for a rubber match then Lewis back in 2002 ducked to fight Rahman for a rubber match. Holyfield back in 1998 ducked to fight Moorer for a rubber match. Wlad ducked to fight Brewster for a rubber match. Jones ducked to fight Griffin for a rubber match.

You do realize that you making an a$$ out of yourself with this stupid thread right?

The bigger question is why isn't Carlos asking for a 3rd fight? After getting brutally Koed you'd think he'd want revenge.:deal Or could it be he wants no more of Williams?

So why should Paul fight a third time with Quintana since you're giving a pass to the other fighters who are 1-1 with each other?

    You're bias hugger!:good

Since you want to go that route...Why didnt Cotto step up to plate when Williams called Cotto out after Williams beat Margorito? You cant be taken seriously if you really believe that garbage you just typed! So using your logic, Cotto ducked Williams right?

Thats what I'm kinda of noticing...He just totally ignored all of the other fighters who didnt have a rubber match but singles out Williams because he beat his favorite fighter.:patsch
