    I guess WBA has decided to elevate John into super champion status whatever that means. Lol. I think they can do the same in HW.

    For example: 1. Chagaev - 'champion in recess'. 2. Valuev - 'super champion' 3. Ruiz - 'regular champion'. 4. Holyfield - 'interim champion', 5. Meehan - "champion emeritus". Everybody is happy since that...

    I think by the end of the year they are gonna step up the competition for Gamboa ... they are just trying to create more buzz around him.

    this is not for the wba title, but for the INTERIM title.

    just checked in the wba site, nothing says about chris john vacating his title.
