tough fight to call but i think one punch could win this fight. would be a good fight to watch and good for the sport
Your boy turned him down saying Dawson was to big. He knows damn well he can''t handle Bad Chad. Kessler is a mentally weak fighter who since his loss to Calzaghe has shown nothing.:deal His mental toughness as a fighter has to be called into question with him turning down both Miranda and Dawson. I guess he rather keep facing bums and no-hopers fighting in front of packed houses at home as if it actually means anything. But if a fight between them ever comes off and Dawson beats the crap outta him I'll be right here telling you I told you so.:hi:
Kessler never said any such thing abour Dawson. Nor did he turn down Miranda. How about you try to find a quote of him saying those things?
Yes and Kessler said that he would be happy to fight Dawson at 168 or at a catchweight, but wasn't considering moving up to 175 at this time. So, why would you ignore what a fighter themself says and draw conclusions on that fighter's 'mental toughness' based on what his management say? Especially when that management is currently launching legal action against that fighter because he disagrees so vehemently with their future plans!
Kessler has done nothing to Suggest he can hang with any top fighter,.... Beating a washed up Beyer , Lucas etc..... comon.... the dude has little credibility. If Joes slaps could hurt Kessler to the body imagine what a bigger light heavy would do. Dawson stops him
Turning down a crude guy like Miranda is just the tip of the iceberg. How about he hasn't fought anyone with a pulse since his Calzaghe loss. How long has that been two years ago? He doens't seem to be eager to get into the ring with anyone with skills and seems happy like I said earlier feasting on cans at home. It looks like the Calzaghe loss took something away from him. A first loss can do that to a fighter. I suspect it did to Kesslser.
He has had two fights since Calzaghe, both of which were in order to secure the WBA title. A title shot which was offered to Miranda before Sartison, Miranda turning it down. The defence against Hausler was a pointless mandatory which Kessler did his bext to get out of, then got out of the way. Kessler has now been agitating for bigger fights to the extent that his own promoter is suing him, how does that indicate someone who wants to 'stay at home' (a laughable claim considering he's fought on more continents than most American fighters know exist...) and 'feast on cans'? You seem somewhat out of touch with actual reality...
I'm not out of touch. Kessler's fans are the ones who seem to be out of touch. Fighting for a vacant WBA title means nothing. Kessler already held that belt before. What he should have been doing was seeking out big fights insead of wasting away his prime years fighting for vacant straps against bums. He should be calling out guys like Pavlik, Taylor, Froch, Bute, Hopkins and Dawson. I'm gonna keep it real I think your boy has a confidence problem after his first loss.
That's exactly what he has done :? http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxing-article/6441/polite-call-out-from-kessler/ He even names four of those fighters you say he should be calling out. Confidence problem? Not calling anyone out? The problems that Kessler has don't appear to be anything to do with his confidence and a lot to do with his contracted management. The problem that you have is that you don't really appear to have paid much attention to the subject you're now spouting off about.
What did his management have to do with him turning down Miranda or him not making a fight with Dawson? If he truly wanted those fights they would have been easily made. Finally it seems he's ready to make some noise but we'll see if any of it amounts to anything. With his track record I doubt it.
Because he knows Kessler isn't serious and doesn't want to fight him. Williams takes on all comers and would take a fight with Dawson at 168 in a heartbeat.
