Nobody is thirsting this nor wants to see this. Man, Adamek will make Golota look like a fool in there. I could see him knocking him out in the early rounds, or if he wants to box, beat him Chagaev - Valuev style. Even Golota fans themselves know hes done. A more better fight would be with Wlodarczyk after he dismantles Fragomeni.
Yes it can happen. I just bought a newspaper today and Adamek said that they approached them with the offer and he said anytime anywhere... His team is working on a fight for him and it could be Golota.
to play along, would adamek try and fill out to 220 plus? because if not, he is no roy jones and even at 41, a healthy golota should be able to impose his size on the much smaller man and do enough to earn a decision at least.
At this point I actually see Adamek beating Golota on points, sad to say. Golota is just too old and slow and his left arm has been ****ed for the last 10 years due to his car accident. I doubt this fight would happen, but if it did, Golota would have a nice punchers chance. Adamek has been hurt by guys WAY WAY less powerful than Golota.
Golota will not have a nice punchers chance. Decent at best, and im being generous. If he couldn't finish Mollo, he can't finish Adamek for sure. Golota is wayyy to slow to hurt Tomek. Speed kills, and Golota lacks a lot of it.
HEALTHY Golota? We are talking about 2009 version of Golota, not 1995. He had a lot of accidents (car crash - skiing - and the last one when fighting Austin) in the meantime and you can clearly see how it impaired him. If Mollo (shorter and cruder than Adamek) was able to hurt Golota, you may imagine what Adamek would do with him after another layoff.
Mollo is a natural heavyweight. Adamek is naturally a little guy compared to huge guys like Golota. If Golota could get lucky and time a huge right hand, Adamek (who's been hurt by cruiserweights) will say goodnight. But I honestly dont see it happening that way, Golota is just too slow now. I see Adamek winning by UD.
