Someone should pick apart Peter's resume, then every other heavyweight out there. Then we can all say that everyone is a bum!

I actually think that Dimitrenko is interesting opponent.

    He looked good against Krasniqi.

Obviously Wlad would be favorite going in match but it would be decent choice of opponent. Much better than Rahman and Austin.

I dont think Rahman was a mandatory, but maybe I'm wrong.

I got the idea that the IBF decided to accept Rahman as a mandatory, giving him room for an optional before Povetkin. But who knows with these guys...

You are wrong. It was the mandatory for the IBF because Povetkin pulls out and the IBF-Champion had to make the mandatory in a period of 9 months.

Fair enough, but theirs no way that Rahman was the number 2 guy behind Povetkin, he did nothing to deserve that shot, unless you count beating Zuri "Knockout Victim" Lawrence or going life and death with Tarus Sykes, or maybe it was quit job against James Toney? I cant see how Rahman was his only choice, unless he was the number 2 guy in the IBF rankings, which I dont think he was at the time.

Remember these are the same people who decided that Austin should be a mandatory for his draw with Ibragimov.

Thats crazy, but your right. These sanctioning bodies are terrible, and if someone like Rahman was the number 2 guy the division is alot worse than I thought.

Then the IBF is just as bad as the WBA and WBC, their are much better fighters out there. Rahman is terrible now adays, no wonder why the average boxing fan don't watch the Heavyweight division anymore.:-(

Thats bull****, nothing against Vitali, but he should be the last one complaining about getting a unfair title shot. The guy rode the bench for nearly 4 years and when he wanted to comeback the WBC gave him his shot. Though I much rather see Vitali fight someone more deserving.

You cant blame Vitali for it...the WBC didnt have to give Vitali that title... the guy took advantage of a situation... every fighter would have done the same.
Maskaev?... can you blame Vitali for being upset?
(regardless of the past time off for Vitali)
Its a joke... what the hell is the WBC thinking
