Waste of time . . . might as well fight Valuev.

Fighting Briggs is a step backward not forward. :deal

    Why not Bowe?
Same ****, but Bowe in better shape than Shannon.
But "crazy asthma Pineapple"(Briggs) was never so dangerous as you think.

Maybe you should ask Lewis, Mercer, and most recently sergei Lyakhovich that same question. I have a feeling they will tell you differently.

James Toney you would think would come out and call out Klitschko now that Haye is out. For all the talking Haye did, over the years cumulative, James Toney spoke a lot more garbage about Klitschko by far.

The fact that Toney has been silent now, and silent when Povetkin went down, shows he is just another one who was talking out of his you know what. When it came time to put up or shut up Haye and Toney both, rather meekly, elected to shut up.

Briggs punches too hard and might get lucky. Despite his very VERY low punch output, Briggs' counter right hand is pretty quick. Losing to Briggs would basically ruin Wlad's place in history. It's not worth the risk.

Briggs' last fight was 2 years ago. Which he lost convincingly to a guy Wlad just shut out.

    Great discussion topic. Next...

Asthma Attack would be a great nickname for him.

.................that's because Briggs can only fight for 1 round these days.

The rest of the rounds he just walks around the ring throwing like 3 or 5 punches a round that come nowhere near their mark.

    Wow, that'd be exciting no?

Me too. Apparently Don "Bling, Bling" King won't let Valuev fight one of the Klitschkos.............it's Don's last piece of the HW pie.

Sergei outboxed that fat ******* for 99.9% of the fight, he just got lazy & stupid in the final seconds. Too bad most of the crowd missed the big KO because BRIGGS PUT THEM TO SLEEP FOR THE OTHER 11 ROUNDS!!!

No more boring than the Rahman or Iggy fight, where I can't even come up with one exciting round out of those two. At least Brigg's would make things interesting for a couple rounds, which is more than I can say for most of Wlad's recent oppenents.

Didn't Lewis completely obliterate Briggs after that first round?

    Just sayin.

Seriously Shannon Briggs-Wlad would only be exciting for the first round only. After that you might as well just go to sleep and read the results the next morning.
