I'm waiting for an open tournament, apparently there has been some misunderstanding about its location and such.

For those that are ready for their first bout, it doesn't matter what the result is.

Win or lose, it is just another learning tool.

Well when I was an amateur my record was 11-4. I was a pretty good defensive fighter and my opponents always found it hard to hit me but at times I was overly defensive and it cost me. That aside I enjoyed my short time spent as an amateur fighter.

i think i was training for eight months before i actually fought.
a lot of the other lads (in our club)were in the ring qucker than that.
i fought a lad in my 5th fight and it was his debut but he'd been training for over 2 years.a lot of the bigger clubs were like that and were more successful.
have you had a medical yet ? or what is the procedure now ?

not just one session, ive been boxing for about 2 months, and go once or twice every week so thats about 8-16 sessions. still tho the boy i spar against dont have much stamina and i had him on the ropes at times lol, i may be little but i aint a bad puncher haha. anyways its newtown boxing club and ive only sparred once against him cos the other boys my age and above are a lot more experience than me and hes only been going there for 5 months so were more or less even.

Oh yeah im about 5'6-5'7, im 150 pounds and im 16 turning 17 in july, p.s im going training tonight so wahey lol

had a whole night sparring on Tuesday

started off with a guy who had about 20 fights but hasnt boxed in afew years and is till good but has no fitness and is over weight and i outboxed him until his back went. Then i went in with my trainer who dosent hold back and beat me up a bit. Then i did afew rounds with kids to give them some round time then i did a few rounds with a guy who has had 1 fight and is pretty good but too old to fight now. I normally outbox him but recently we have been going toe to toe to improve fitness and we had some wars.

    collyhurst in manchester.

i was guted last night, no sparring! well furious were supposed to be fighting in about 3 weeks and havent had sparring for the last 2 because the normal coach hasnt been there due to good reasons. (last week the new ring was put up but not one bit of sparring) and we dont even have a proper date for fighting :fire

    rant over
