I don't see how a man who had so much trouble with Willie Limond can beat Barrera.

Because fighters develop there skills and progress ...gain experience and become better fighters !! ...DOH

Was i a better fighter after 5 fights or 20 fights ..... id say 20 by along way ....

He's no naz or Julian Jackson but he is capable of sensational stoppages, he can bang! He's more accurate then anything else

Yep, in his last but one fight he showed great improvement against Bredis Prescott.

I guess he's improved a great deal since his fight with ***an too eh?

    Lets be real.

Unless Barrera is shot to **** he should flatten Khan at some point in the fight.

He needs to bang a **** load of shots in, Jeff.

Doing that against one of the best and toughest box fighter's of all time is going to be pretty difficult. :yep

Barrera just does so many thing's better than Khan and Khan's lack of big power will be a problem.

I just can't help look back at his fight with Gomez, Limond and Prescott and wonder how he's going to beat Barrera.

Ive alway believed that some guy's dont turn to **** overnight too.

Some guys just slowly fade where as some just turn to **** over night.

I believe that Barrera is past his best but not one of those guy's who will all of a sudden grow really old overnight and becomes extremely shot.

Then again i thought Oscar was one of those guy's too.

I think Barrera will show up with enough left to stop Khan though.

He's too tough, too smart, too fast and accurate himself and hit's too hard to the body and head for Khan.

I agree with tuffnutz. I just think that at some point in the fight Barrera is goin to land on Kahns jaw... and we all know what happens then.Kahn may get some success early on which will cause him to open up and become vulnerable. Barrera wins....baring controversy.

should'nt be too much of a problemm if it does. it's on the forehead, not on the eye.just need a strong ref

Its not just the ref though.

Barrera, as tough as he is, hates cut's.

He's seems to lose focus when cut, where as some guys don't give a **** anout being cut to shreds.

Like Jeff says Kahn is an accurate puncher so he will probably go after that scar tissue.

He'd get no credit though beating Barrera on that cut.

I dont want that fresh scar tissue to be a factor in this fight.

I want a solid win for either fighter.

a couple of days till the fight and i still cant pick it...

#khan looks so much bigger and faster, but his whiskers are sensationally bad...

i can see marco being the counterpuncher in this one, patiently landing the left hook after khan has thrown the right hand, and that chin is just sooo fragile, he simply has to get caught at some point.

    still cant choose:bart

Dangerous on paper, but reality wise i cannot see Barrera dominating (his best years are gone, sadly). He can atleast hurt and stop khan at any period, as we are used to the suspect weak chin of mr Amir. But other than that, Raoch has prepared Amir well to take ring control and put some damage on the aged Barrera.

world class amateurs target the forehead and not the chin. That might be significant in light of the cut.

Barrera doesn't have the style to KO Khan like Prescott did, for example...it's unlikely that Barrera will KD Khan with one punch, just like that...

this will be more of a game of tag than a boxing match unfortunately. khans tactics are clearly to engage as little as possible. expect holyfield valuev 2 to some extent.

berrera wins this fight, no doubt about it. kahn has no chance. if he wins this fight, in my eyes its a massive upset, no matter how much berrera's slipped. kahn's gonna get battered, it wont be quick and clean like prescott. he's facing a real legend and as far as i'm concerned he dont deserve to be in the ring with berrera at all. kahn should have faced thaxton, murray and then yuri romanov before even thinking about world titles.
