    AS per Bunce's boxing hour:

    Rogan beat Skelton who beat Danny Williams who beat Tyson who Beat Larry Holmes who beat - ALI

    Bunce says you can link Nicolau Valuev (7 ft 1) to Jacob Matlala (4ft 10) in 10 fights. I have not managed to do this so far.

    That is quite funny lol!

    I wonder how far back through boxing history you can go working backwards like this with modern day fighters.

    With Boxrec you can pick a Heavy weight Champ then work your way down the weights on the basis that the lighter fighter must have beaten the heavier fighter e.g:

    Holyfield beaten by James Toney beaten by Drake Thadzi beaten by Wesley Reid beaten by Fred Johnson beaten by Laurence Hafey beaten by Les Gillis beaten by Johny Devison beaten Marcel Gendron (Bantam weight).

    I have done this quicker before and gone from Heavy to Straw weight

    I've tried using Boxrec to link modern fighters to the past. The TV would have to be broken before I ever try again.....

    I think - Valuev fought a man who fought a man etc -----who fought Malatala, and was able to make the link in 10 fights.
