I'm torn.....I like your views BT Timmy, share them to a tee. BUT, Brother Boo is right. This is embarassing, for REAL Pavlik fans.

 

I understand we could have had a low graded opponent to SHARE a card with AA vs. a low level opponent, to set up the BIGGIE. But damn, Mora should in no way shape or form be a part of that plan. There are lower level fighters, even lower level fighters, and somewhere WAY below that is Sergio "Pig ****er" Mora.


But again Timmy, I WOULD pay to see Mora BRUTALLY KTFO......prolly upwards of $150.00 LOL on PPV.

I'm humble, so I consider myself 4th in order of Rank in the Pavlik Nation. Brother Boo is defo the Speaker of the House and (sorry bro) but my vote for VP. I got to give top honors to JETSKI, on seniority and the most bitchin' KP memoralbilia collection on could wish for. Just above me is the hard hitting big balled squirrel (well not of late) totin' Hermit.

But from my lowly perch, I still say like Boo, this is BAAAADDDDD, very very BAAAADDDDD.

 

If this were an undercard bout on a good PPV, e.g., the co-feature to Hatton/Pacquiao, or if it were a Showtime headliner with a good undercard, I wouldn't be too upset. However, I don't particularly want to order another of these Top Rank PPVs where names are in no short supply but suitable opponents are an extreme rarity. Who the hell cares about JCC, Jr. fighting some bum and the potential of Margarito? I don't. At least, not enough to pay for it.

this fight makes me pretty embarrassed to defend boxing when people are talking **** about it. who gives a **** about the money, those in charge need to be making the fights that matter. what a joke. im down to boycott.

 

Don't know whether to call it fair or not, but AA obviously gets held to a much lower standard. I agree with your assessment, especially considering Ayala and now L. Simon for AA, but Kelly gets bombed for taking on top WBC contender Rubio after taking on Mr. Bernard "****ing" Hopkins.:!:

I also would like to see Mora KTFO but no way is this justified in being PPV. On top of that, Top Rank PPV has the worst put together show, including commentary. I don't expect Kelly to be in a superfight everytime but don't put it on PPV. Duddy would be better than that bum Mora. That guy just annoys me. I'd like to see Pavlik v winner of Williams/Wright which I think will be Williams.

 

Big Time Timmy, don't know if you pay attention to us, but BooRadley, Hermit, and myself mainly play a LOT of defense on here to keep the Pav fans looking decent and defending the champ himself (especially for having the balls to jump up 2 weights and take on a legend in B-Hop at a young age).

We will have a hard time defending this to the masses of haters that will have valid points this time.

 

In my opinion King "bum of the month" Arthur fans are idiotic if they criticise Kelly because he's fighting an American that not even Americans know about and has only fought china-chinned Miranda. There is no comparison in their resumes. The only common opponent they have is Miranda and Kelly stopped him in half-a-fight while Abraham got his jaw broke and took two fights to stop him.

 

I agree pretty much...But had it been a double header "feature" type BS card where Pavlik could have had Duddy, even Forrest, Mayorga, **** anybody compared to Mora...whilst on the same card have AA dispatch hard of G. Lorenzo, and Bingo, just as Boo had been saying for weeks: We'd have the perfect recipe for the big one between AA and Pav.

Even with the double header going ahead, Mora has just enough ability to make the Pav fight a stinker......think when HBO was trying to set up Miranda/Pavlik vs. Taylor. Pav and Miranda went all out and damn near took fight of the year (should have gotten it IMO) and Spinks vs. Taylor stunk to the heavens, nearly taking the luster off of the BIG ONE.
