Hopkins is a myth, a sham the biggest flim flam artist in the history of boxing!

He's forged a career on fighting boxers who never had the tools to beat him, smaller men, older men, guys who have no or little ability.

He then self proclaims himself as an ATG, The Executioner, don't make me laugh.

He's the biggest self hype job I've seen in 40 years of watching and being involved in boxing.

If I did'nt know better I'd swear he was young Don King except Hopkins he's full of more crap than Don.

He also fought like he didn't want fans to want a rematch. He's getting his wish, and saving face to some by demanding a rematch that he deliberatly sabbotaged in the first match. He sure is a calculating old fox but I'm onto him.

The punches in the 'combination' didn't even ****ing land, Calzaghe had his hands by his side and looked to me like he was making ****** gestures at Hopkins - maybe a racist taunt after his white boy remark for all I know, but he was clearly taking the **** in one way or another.

Whatever helps you sleep at night I suppose.

I watched the fight a few times and IMO Calzage won clearly...it was close but B-Hop really turned me off faking the foul (trying to bide time) it was cheap...Thing with Calzage is that he adapts very well to styles...Kessler,Lacy,Hopkins and Jones but after the 1st round KD, I knew Joe had a lot to overcome but he did it gradually and made Bernard take a knee looking for a rest

 

Great contribution, you seem really intelligent.

People are criticising the fact that Joe won on the basis of his work rate, but why shoould Hopkins win for fighting in such a negative way.
The fact is, Calzaghe has an unconventional style of fighting, purists and fans of his opposition cant handle the fact that it is so effective and come up with petty criticisms.
