Yeah but how can taking 5 minutes for a low blow change the scoring? It's legal. That's a bias.

Calzaghe has 3 low blows in the fight. That's is supposed to be a one point deduction.

Funny as **** thread. Was a **** fight in which Calzaghe didn't look good offensively and in which Hopkins gassed himself hugging, hiding and running against someone who he knew had superior hand speed who he couldn't control like a Pavlik. Against Pavilk he still hadn't broken sweat at the final bell yet against Calzaghe he was playing for time for the last few rounds and was out on his feet. Bernard landed a few decent shots here and there but Calzaghe landed a just as many straight lefts in the latter part of the fight so anyone who scores this for Hopkins is smoking some good ****. Was a crap fight and after the clinch and run tactics Hopkins used he has no hope of getting a rematch in front of 70,000 people in Cardiff

Why didn't Hopkins just walk through him then?

What's your point? Manny Steward made that slapping comment upon observing and actually seeing Calzaghe's punching technique.

On observing the fight, he said Calzaghe won it. He made the slapping comment on HBO when he was co-commentating and at the end of the fight he said he thought Joe had won.

I watched the fight over and I think most felt Benard was faking...there were NO low blows a beltline blow...Bernard was looking for rest and I think everyone agreed after watching replay
