Best of both worlds Pacquiao high work rate and a lot of them land clean.

I prefer Floyd and Hopkins.... TO me high workrate dont mean much if the punches arent landing flush and doing real damage...

Wouldn't A Higher Workrate Though Cause The Ref To Step In If The Opponent Isn't Punching back???

Im with the woo...I like a bit of both...Duran and McCallum are two of my personal favourites and they were both busy, intense fighters with a high level of technical ability..they threw a lot punches but didnt waste to many in the process.

I think unlanded punches can be highly under rated some times though. It's true that there are some guys that just throw and throw and don't accomplish **** but guys like Margo and Calzage are not in that category. Their opponent is often so busy avoiding the onslaught that they can't accomplish anything of their own and the punches take their toll as the fight wears on.

If everybody was a potshotter, boxing would die.

If everybody had a mad workrate, boxing would thrive.

    So workrate.

There arn't just 2 types. But I appreciate successful "pot shotters" more, they use their energy more economically and need to rely on their brain and skills more rather than their conditioning.
