By hbo? I don't blame them but what's stopping cotto for not fighting Cintron? That fight could be on Arum ppv like the last one. Imo Cotto could have choose Cintron easy on top rank ppv but instead Cotto decide to fight Clottey as the next opponent. Cotto has shown many times that he ain't ducking anybody. Pavlik on the other hand is really disappointing me. I mean come on Mora?

First off, because Quintana is not a limited fighter. He's one of the best southpaws in the game and is an elite-level guy. He boxed the crap out of Williams the first time around although it was still a close fight.

He got caught early in the rematch.

I know im not stupid and hater.
All im saying is this " Most feared most avoided fighter" doesnt make sense when it all comes down to it the most financially viable opponent would most likely be chosen. Ofcourse there are some exception. I just dont think most fighters fear other fighters.

Those Arum ppv's don't make much money. Arum probably lost money on that show. I doubt he wants to do that again with Cotto, when he has an opponent(who's also promoted by Top Rank) that HBO is willing to approve.

Margo was offered 4 mill to fight Williams. He instead took 2 mill to fight Mosley. **** like that is why Goosen is using this "most feared fighter" tag in order to promote Williams.

Did you not read what I said. Williams is calling out guys who will not fight him, not guys that he's fought twice and lost to by a 1st round KO, Ala Q's calling out. By fighting Quntata twice allready Williams has proved that he was not afraid of him. You are describing 2 different scenarios. Now if Cotto started calling out Williams, and Williams said the money isn't big enough, you'd have a legitimate complaint.

I never said Williams was afraid of quintana i said he would rather have bigger paydays just like any boxers.Making him no different nor making him more special than fighters he claimed are ducking him

Dude, don't you think Quintana should prove himself by actually fighting somebody with a pulse. PW is doing big things and proving his worth on the world class scene, Carlos is not doing anything.

Of course fighters who also have something to prove would fight him.

But when Margo and Cotto and Mosley wont fight him.

    The tag fits.

Exactly. If he becomes the bigger name he'll do exactly what the fighters he claims are ducking him are doing.

    Uhm. No.

Williams is a big enough name to warrant such fights.

He was clearly the number 2 WW. And his fights recently show that even more.

Arum would never let Cotto near him.

Margo was almost sued by Arum for fighting Williams.

And Mosley concludes he wants big fights only. Williams might not be a huge fight but its a big fight.

He could fight Quintana agian but i cant see much point after the way the last fight ended. The Quintana fights were a bit like the Jones v Griffin fights(Im in no way comparing Williams to Jones here)Quintana gave Williams problems first time out and looked to have a decent chance in the return but was blown away by a far better fighter who had a bad night the first time they met.
