Haye knows he will get knocked out, so he is asking for everything he can get. Remember, Haye is and has been afraid to fight a top ten heavyweight, so what did you think he thinks of when he thinks about Vlad? Hell, he is afraid of Herbie Hide!
Macca is just a local British guy. He is fighting someone called Ola Ofolabi these days. Macca barely arranged an opponent in his previous fight. They found someone on few days notice finally. The fight with Macca was a local fight not a true title defense by any means. Practically Haye never defended the title he won. He did not fight anyone big, except the fading Mormeck, and moved up beacuse it was too risky for him to fight other top cruiserweights. It is nothing more than Chagaev defending against Matt Skelton or Drummond.
Pat on the head, aren't you a clever lad then...:good It's not availible, at this point no one can comment on why it's not been signed. And if you can't read between the lines of what I write that's your problem, not mine.
Did you just drop out of high school or what? Man, stop posting your stupid smileys everytime you disagree with somebody and learn to develop counter arguments. This Forum has slipped too much already.
Take this or dont... Its a more then fair contract. I wish I could say more, but I cant... It is straight forward and has everything Haye asked for as well as what Wlad asked for..... Bottom line.... Haye came up to HW screaming and yelling that he would beat Wlad and clean out the division... this contract is more then fair and if Haye really wanted the fight like he said he did and was so sure he would KO Wlad, he would have signed long ago. with or without the options clause Which by the way was the ONLY complaint Haye had:deal
Chef I've said all along if Hayes being an awkward ***** then to hell with him, I'm NOT a Haye fan. I can respect that you're in a position to access the details but you didn't start the thread. It was started and then had the snowball effect gathering speed from a bunch of people who don't have the first clue about what's going on. That is what actually irritates me more than anything else. And a lot of these guys were crying about Pac - Hatton too!! Two scenarios pretty similar in such a short space of time and they don't learn, thats downright moronic if you ask me. Everyman should go after what he feels he's worth. Imo Haye deserves 1.5 -2.5 million at least. I say at least because imo this fight will generate more $$ than the Rahman fight and he got $4.2 million, (the UK PPV sales alone will take care of that). Is a stumbling block nothing to do with UK PPV Chef? I could see that being a problem to sort out.... I agree with the rematch clause's in place aswell
Fair enough... if I didnt know what I know The speculation **** would bother me also. I wish I was a fly on the wall at team Haye. I would love to know what he is thinking about the contract, fight, the whole situation.... I hope we will find out soon :good The stumbling block was Haye couldnt secure the venue like he said he could and the $$ that he said he could bring to the table from Sentanta was not correct either... The big problem was the stadium Haye didnt secure it like he said he did when talks started... he didnt even have a contract with the stadium.. thats why it had to moved to Germany.. Wlad stepped up and secured the venue. I think Haye will sign... All seems to be in line now.
And you are pemanently acting like you know something others do not and respond in a quite arrogant way with smileys if you disagree with people or have no clue to answer. "from a bunch of people who don't have the first clue about what's going on." Dan Rafael who is an objective boxing journalist said the delay was caused by Haye. Further, we know that Wlad has always reportedly been easy to negotiate with in the past. We know that Haye is not in position to make any big demands because he has not proven anything at a heavyweight and is not even mandatory. We know that Haye screamed for Wlad last year. Rahman was begging Haye for a last payday but Haye chose to fight Barett. haye also talked quite a lot for a guy who only beat old Mormeck. You are right if you say tha we do not know the exact details of the contract but all the other things we know point in the direction that this is more likely to be Haye's fault. If you see things differently, it might have been more to do with it that you are a Haye fan. On the other hand, I am not a Klitschko fan or Haye hater at all and describe things in an objecive way. I follow boxing a lot longer than the Hatton-Pacquaio matchup and negotioations of this time span are not common. This is not Tyson - Holyfield after all.
