Yeah Roach said they transferred alot of his muscle from upper body to his legs. His muscles were slowing him down apparently.

barrera may be drained for this fight, and he's getting old,i just have a feeling that Khan may be able to pull an upset.

Thank you! I am from the UK and this post pretty much sums it up exactly. It's nothing to do with race as some posters seem to think but everything to do with respect. If you can get over the fact that Khan has been overhyped and oversold you still have his cocky attitude not too mention reckless and dangerous behaviour outside of the ring to contend with - although he is apparently being reigned in now.

I've watched all of Khan's fights basically with the intention of seeing him either develop and grow up as a fighter or lose. The Prescott bout was a particular high point and I must have watched it twenty times over, laughing until tears ran down my face as Khan did the birdy dance. That being said I watched Khan's next fight which showed improvement on his part and I will be watching him fighting Barrera although my allegiance will be firmly in Barrera's corner.

James DeGale is a cocky sumbitch and although he had a clean slate and every chance of building a genuine fanbase he blows it at every possible opportunity by his unlikable arrogance and pigheadedness. I personally lost all respect for him when he was shooting his mouth off on Steve Bunce's boxing hour whilst all the time loudly chomping on gum with his big open mouth. Calling out fighters and professionals who have had years in the game is no way to start a career - take note Tyson Fury!

My view is Frank Warren is hoping that the negative attention hoisted upon Khan will be diverted on to DeGale thus keeping his cash cow in business. This will become especially apparant if Khan somehow manages to beat Barrera as Warren will then market him as some kind of National hero. If he loses he will likely continue to be pushed as some sort of brave underdog with no fear!

Martin Rogan has done more to win respect and build a fanbase in his past two fights than these two chumps have done in their entire lives.

    Go Barrera! :happy

Definately, he looks practically gaunt at this point. His shoulders have all but disappeared and his left bicep is substantially bigger than his right...weird!

In the first photo he looks totally stiff, almost exactly like he did when he got up after the first Prescott knockdown before rocking back on his heels. Some might call it fear, I call it the Barrera effect!

Absolute BS, Khan isnt cocky or arrogant hes confident in himself. He may be a little naively confident but thats not the same as cocky. As for his driving accident, he was a new driver 17-18 yr old behind a powerful car. You lot act like you've never broken any traffic rule as a teenager! Everyone is a moral judge here.

Where does this cocky ***** image come from btw? I've read articles were he's confident and maybe oversteps the mark with one or two comments but not arrogant, ignorant or cocky to any great extreme. I actually find him quite a likeable humble lad. People loved Eubank, Lewis, Benn, hell even Hamed etc and imo Khan doesn't compare to some of the **** they said.

    Fail.

And if everyone who passed their driving tests at 17 or 18 was driving recklessly where would we be? I passed my test at 18 and was extremely careful when driving for quite some time afterward. Of course I didn't have a high powered sportscar or the money for top legal representation should I choose to endanger someone's life before fleeing the scene of a crime.

    No smoke without fire.

Khan was arrogant to the point of annoyance and despite any recent modifications to his behavior that is why he gets booed in the UK. He currently has the reputation he deserves and no weight of opinion from keyboard warriors can change that. Only Khan can!

Khan is a humble kid. Humble but very confident in himself. In the lead up to this fight he has shown respect for Barrera. The cocky arrogant **** is made up to hide behind real reasons to hate Khan. Hell Khan even had an angry mob shout racist abuse and chase after him where he had to be escorted by security. Where all Khan was doing is watching an amateur fight to support his younger brother.

    Forgive the over-exageration:hey

Y'know what I mean though ("Khan/Warren" - "PPV having achieved **** all" - "washed-up SFW opponents with crap KO rates" - "next big thing" - "will be youngest British world champ" - "would fight Pac and Floyd at a days notice" - "blah, blah, blah")

He is becoming more grounded definitely and has shown a maturity since getting some decent coaching under Freddie Roach. I also think it may have humbled him somewhat working with Manny.
