Zuniga always has a punchers chance because he can really crack. I think his best shot would be to just jump right on Lucian from the first second of the first round, and stay on him. He can't win a decision, so he may as well just go for broke right away. This is probably Z's last hurrah. If he loses here, it will probably be the end of him getting big fights. I'm sure he knows that, and will fight accordingly. However, in spite of the fact that Z may put in a career best type performance, I expect Bute to simply out box him for 12 rounds, and win a 116-112 type decision.
Sure, Zuniga has a chance - a puncher's chance, maybe 15% or so... Who knows how Bute will react after the last 30 seconds against Andrade, mentally? Maybe Zuniga can take advantage of a lowered morale. Or maybe he'll just catch Bute with a really good punch on the chin, put him down, and then finish him. My pick is Bute TKO 9, though.
zuniga is colombian so he has a chance...these guys derail careers...if i was a matchmaker i would never put my guy in there with a colombian....but even if zuniga somehow sends bute to the canvas...once he gets on his feet...the ref will probably spend plenty of time warning zuniga to stay in his corner...and never make bute come off the ropes to show he is ok
well yeah...there arent many chins better than andrades.....but i think pavlik is the only guy to stop zuniga....but i agree...bute should take this relatively easy...the poor mans version of calslappy that he is
Bute, it's in Bute's backyard once again so all Bute has to do is be competitive in this fight and not get KD'd or KO'd and this is his fight.
You are aware that Pavlik is the only person who ever stopped Zuniga, aren't you? That was 3 1/2 years ago on cuts, and somewhat cotroversial. I'm not saying Bute cannot, or will not, stop him. I just do not think it is the most likely outcome.
