Dude, strength? First of all, clinching is more skill, technique, position and balance then it is strength. If Floyd is initiating the clinches after he lands a shot, then he has the advantage and it will be ill-advised for Margo to try and struggle and improve his positioning. Floyd isn't a weakling, I have no idea where that "tag" came from :patsch When have you ever seen him off balance or even out of position. Margo may be stronger if they are both moving towards each other, but if Floyd gets leverage and steps to the side, now he is coming at Margo.....and margo is mis directed, Floyd is then the in the more powerful position. This is why footwork and positioning is so important in boxing. The stronger fighter can get pushed around and bullied by the weaker fighter if he can't compete in those departments.

floyd had his chances to fight Margarito but avoided it, most recently hiding in a fake retirement to dodge the challenge.

don't discount the punishment Margarito endured from Cotto as having some effect on his performance vs. Mosley.

bottom line is floyd knew how much trouble Margarito would have been for him and used numerous excuses and reasons, to avoid him. Mosley manned up, no excuses.

Yeah, I agree with you. Most likely thing is that if Floyd had faced Margo it would have been a decision victory and not a KO performance by Mayweather. Those who seriously imply that Floyd would have KOed Margo easily are just fanboys who don't have a ****ing clue what they're talking about.

Sounds okay but when Margarito came straight Floyd's way on numerous occasions, floyd used his leverage and rapidly got the hell out of there. he still ain't come out of hiding yet, but has peeped his head out. Though this was the way it happened out of the ring, more than likely it would have transferred inside the ring as well. Bottom line is floyd ducked the fight for $10 million. Margarito KO floyd who for some reason was spooked by Margarito.
