Any indication Saureland has talked to HBO? I'm sure he can pick up that phone too and find out what their interest in the fight would be. So far I just hear a figure they are willing to fight for.
He said so on German and British TV, simply saying "the big US premium networks" (aka HBO and SHO) and both would love the fight but it takes 3 (the 2 promotions and the network) to stage a fight and SE can't negotiate a fight in the US involving a US TV network cause he has no licence to do so...
OK. But he didn't throw any figures around I take it? THAT is the one thing we need to know to make sense of it all. And timing. Let's not forget Pac/Hatton is early May. It took Arum 9 months to get the first 'tentative' date for the fight from them and it still never happened because of schedule drift if I remember correctly. And let's not forget this: Pavlik has been one of boxings busiest fighters over the past two years and This content is protected , Kelly Jr. Pavlik and his wife already have a daughter, Sydney, who is almost 3. I honestly don't care who Pavlik fights, until American TV networks are satisfied with Abraham's Herculean quest to prove himself in their eyes enough to unleash him like a lion into the gladiator's pit to rend Kelly's flesh. :good
In this scenario your lion gets his ass handed to him for 6-7 rounds, and knocked the **** out in under 8. That's actually the single most frustrating part of the KP/AA controversey; Arthur Abraham is no match for Kelly Pavlik. It wouldn't even be competitve.
Most people would say it would be very competitive, at least for a couple of rounds. In any case, until Pavlik does prove he is the better man, there will still be doubt.:good
Of course he won't last 8 rounds, Rubios defense is better, Rubios power is better, that should tell you----> pavlik ktfo aa round 7! :good
We live in a world where Iran ****ing Barkley beat Tommy Hearns TWICE! I do not do ban bets, nor do I do avatar bets:nono
:good Also, you never know if Mora's odd style might pose problems for Pavlik and his straight ahead style. Wouldn't shock me one bit if Mora squeeks out a UD by running and pot shotting for 12 rounds.
