that was my ***** slap. some people just lose all rational when the apple of their eye is mentioned. i try to respond to a post in the manner that the poster is accustomed to addressing other posters. respect demands respect.

I am not happy about any slur put on a fighters name after they have passed.. I was a friend of Diego's and this thread is really a pointless one, what is the point of the quote or question, (if you didn't say it ) Mayweather just beats everyone in front of him.. Diego happened to be there at the time, If Diego wasn't at his optimum in yours or whoevers opinion, its not that great a comment topic is it? It doesn't even warrant a reply...

You PBF haters are hilarious. You will try and discredit every win the man has on his resume.
    Chico not foucsed
    JLC robbed
    G.Hernandez shot
    Gatti a bum,
    Zab a glass jawed headcase
    Oscar shot
    Hatton too small

Let me ask you this? If his wins all sucked then how in the **** did he get named Ring Fighter of the year for 1998 and 2007?:deal

You didn't do **** but make a ton of excuses for Chico and not give PBF an ounce of credit. Don't flatter yourself you and your cheerleader friend need to get a room.:-(

Relax. I agreed with his post, but not any of the disrespect. He explained that. Respect for respect and that does not have to do with boxing or this forum. You know by now I don't call anybody names or go out of my way to disrespect a poster I don't agree with. Would that room have cable?

there you go talking out your ass again. if you bothered to read the posts instead of shooting into "no one disrespects my girl" mode, you would have read that i dont think chico would have won that night even at 100%.

:yep:yep:yep...there you go, that is the Pimp C I am talking about. It is all opinions and actually, we are talking about what if's. We are all agreeing that Chico would have lost even at 100% due to PBF Picaso performance.

Chico was the favorite at the time. Most expected him to win. Floyd was not the favorite, so if he did win it would not have been an upset... however people were underestimating Mayweather and bad mouthing him prior, as usual.

I do not like PBF either but that was a very good win.

Corrales was unbeaten and in his prime.

That is right, PBF deserves credit for that win.

You said it, a good win. It was a great performance for PBF, it was not a great win due to what some of us are claiming. Chico was destroying everyone he faced at 130 and PBF was disecting everyone he face at 130. Unless you were around during this time, it was a lot of buzz for this fight. There was hate too. There entourages almost or could have gotten into it. It was a very long time ago. If any of you remember the build up to this and I am not talking about the promoting just the actual fighters and entourages. It was like the bloods vs crypts kind of atmosphee.

mayweather had his own problems at the time as he had beef with his dad and had recently fired him as trainer and manager.
If you wanna bring up the distraction card use both sides of the argument
