if you would have read, what i wrote, then im not saying, that tysons actions were ok.. i can see why atlas would be pissed.. however, there seems to be difference of opinion about the girls age, she might have been a couple of years older, which would make tysons mistake seem smaller.. what i am saying is, if your going to point a gun, to a boy´s head, then that exact reason ,sure as hell aint good enough.. your perhaps fine with the fact, that atlas pointed a gun straight in the face of a boy, because he made a silly mistake..?
Whatever Tyson says he is still a convicted ****** he also known as someone who doesn't respect women, just because someone gets lots of sex doesn't mean that they are not capable of raping a woman. Most men when it is clear a woman does not want sex will back off but Tyson is obviously not that sort of man. Atlas may have his problems but he knew Tyson and knew what he was like and reacted the way he did probably because he is an ******* too.
True. Tyson getting women thrown at him all the time really really proves nothing in terms of his innocent/guilt of the crime. Psychologists will say that it's a crime more about control and power than sex. Or a sense of entitlement and being above the normal standards of society. Now I'm sure many athletes, NBA and NFL players for instance, are falsely accused, but I don't believe for one second that every single case you hear about is an example of a gold digger making up a story.
Obviously certain elite athletes are targeted because of the money they make but also certain people whether they are athletes or people in power sometimes think they are too big to be touched, an obvious example is Bill Clinton, in most cases a gold digger would get an out of court settlement not drag Tyson through the courts like Washington did.
It seems there are two distinct schools of thought on Atlas. Personally and I think some others would agree, know the most about Atlas by having read his auto biography. Posters like Hank provide severe contradiction to this work. It would be nice for one of the people who feels Atlas has low character, contradictory to his public perception and his own claims in his book could comment on the things he says in there, specifically what is fabricated and what is not and some evidence or something to back up the claim.
Yes, I did read your post, and I am fine with the fact that Atlas pointed the gun at him. Mike went way too far, and he knew exactly what he was doing. When you put walk into a house, and people are crying because someone touched her in a way they shouldn't have, regardless of the age, you're going to be furious. Mike is lucky Teddy didn't kill him.
I have to agree with Anon1. That story uses a lot of biased, poetic sensationalism. Life is not that black and white. I don't think either side in this situation is without fault. Atlas clearly has some issues, and I also don't think Tyson should be permanently demonized for something he did when he was 15 or 16. People make mistakes, especially at that age. There is a reason we don't have certain rights under the age of 18---we are still not fully developed. Don't get me wrong, I think Tyson should have gotten punished, and maybe he did deserve that gun pointed at his head, but I don't think he should pay for it for the rest of his life. Ultimately, it appears like we will never know the true facts enough to judge one way or another.
so a teenage boy grabs a girls ass, and you accept that as a valid reason, to pull a gun at that boy.. then there is only one thing to say, you sir are an idiot if thats really the way, your proces of thought is, then your no better then the man, your pointing your fingers at.
That story about family crying over girl took Atlas almost 8 years to come up with. It's bull**** story.
A couple of girls were paid off by Jacobs and Clayton ,this was not an isolated incident, more a part of a habitual pattern.D'amato looked the other way because he badly wanted another Champion and time was running out on him.Tyson told Jose Torres he got off on knocking girls about and hurting them , the guy is another Tony Ayala.
Yeah I don't like the way this is being played off as an isolated little incident, Tyson was known to be out of control around women, has anyone else seen the video of Tyson and Merchant waiting to do an interview in a studio, both in suits, when a women worker walks past and he yells at her come on over here baby and sit on my face.
Tyson tried to hit on one of the female legal team prosecuting for him **** ,which shows not only is he sex mad but very DUMB!
