Maybe Warren has taken out a big life insurance policy on Khan. If Barrera is shot then he's just looking for another way to cash it in.

    It's "British" not "Brittish".;)

Also, I've lived here for the last 14 years...I kind of understand the place a bit...:good

I would agree with you except that the alternative to Warren thinking as I proposed is him trying to guide Khan by the softest/easiest way possible to a WBO title, and then protecting him from all serious challengers for a long, long time. Problem is...no one would pay PPV money for that...it wouldn't pay, long-term...because Khan's chinny and he could lose even to a soft opponent...

...so he might as well push the boat out and look for the biggest selling fights for him, and if he loses...well...there's always one-two tune-ups that his fans could draw confort from...;)

There are enough light-hitting lightweights out there that Warren could line up for Khan to keep a belt for some time.

If you live here I really don't know how you've reached the conclusion that Mrs Jones from anytown UK would be any more impressed with (or pay any more to see,) Khan fighting JMM than a less skillul version of Paulie Malignaggi.

You can fool some of the people all of the time, but not enough, in this case. If Khan hadn't been "exposed" by Prescott...then, yeah...maybe...he'd be unbeaten and he'd have beaten Barrera...but...this is not how things are...

EDIT: not even sure why we're debating this. It ain't gonna happen... :)

Relax. Warren is just blowing smokes to get some attention for his fighter.. Warren is one of the shadiest promoters out there and he's no fool... Yea right sure he'll risk his cash cow against someone like MArquez..

Dont believe everything u hear.. Gettin excited for nothing.

    Bingo.

Or he's just talking the talk.

He's been cashing in a lot more over the last few years, well taking more risks, see Hatton Tsyzu, Calzaghe Lacy etc. Obv afterwards he claimed genius but he saw $$$$$

Khan Prescott I always thought was stupid. Anyone who ****s with the same stable as Torres is mental. That was 100% his fault and incapable match making.

Why not? If he was able to beat Barrera, he should be able to at least hang with JMM.

If Khan starts to dream big, Warren will lose him to TR or GBP especially now that he's hanging out with Pac and Roach.

So if he picks a tough opponent he's a money grubbing ******* who doesnt care for his fighters and if he picks an easy opponent then he's overprotecting his fighters and doesn't allow them to progress.

    What should he do?
