Tyson was beating up men when he was 15 ,what would you have done wagged a finger at him and told him not to do it again?

 

Well ,do the other incidents suggest that Atlas might have the inside track as to Tyson's character? You decide.

 

I think the punctuation needs more work.

 

I think some people think Atlas should have pardoned him completely.

No. I knew him a bit, and knew others involved too. I never had problem with him, but never got involved with him either. I knew his reputation way back in 1982 or so. He abused a lot of amateurs, and spent tons of time from 1984 till 1990's spresding word Tyson was woman abuser. He also tried other rumors about Tyson, from *** to worse.


I mentioned earlier what he did after Cus D'Amato died. Writer from People magazine did interview, he said Cus was ***, and hinted Tyson was possibly too. When he got backlash, he immediatley said writer was lying, and totally misquoting him. Media gave Teddy a pass. Last year, I saw posted on this site that Playboy magazine had interview with Teddy, Rooney, and others, and Teddy said in interview that Jim Jacobs and Cus were homo lovers. These were guys who got him out of jail, and gave him his start. He gets no backlash on it now, cause Cus's friends are mostly all dead, and Teddy is media bigshot. He is truly a piece of ****.

 

He should tell truth,and admit he's liar. I see he has you convinced.

 

What I said here (dispite my ****ed up spelling and punctuation) says a lot about Teddy. It also explains, fr those who read it, why he gets away with more stuff than Tyson.

 

Teddy has always seemed to try to be the main man in any relationship he has had with many fighters i know.. I spoke to Jeff Mayweather a couple of years ar so ago, when he was with Shannon Briggs.. He spoke about Briggs saying he had a lot of bad things to say about how Teddy took a lot of his self esteem away.. he had to do a lot of re building... I also knew Mike Grant an awful lot and went along to support him when he came back to box McCline at caesars palace , with Teddy as new trainer.. Teddy was trying to make him into a complete boxer that was not in keep with the way Mike operated. Teddy and Mike didn't last long as Michael got knocked out by Dominick Guinn soon after this and they split ways... Teddy always has to be the star of the show and wants everyone to sit up and hear his word like it is almost biblical.. I had to watch this occurr with Moorer a lot, Mike Moorer had the patience of a saint but i did see tense moments when he was involved in that so called brawl at Tyson v Holy 1 weigh in, i always wondered what that fight was all about , But i was very close by and it was quite a nasty incident.... In fact one of Tysons men Roosavelt Mckinley stepped away from it ... It came of no surprise that Mike had Teddy replaced 2 fights later and replaced him with Freddie Roach... Not many people who hung with Teddy stuck around him for long.... He was ringside when my fighter boxed Alonzo Butler last year , and he was doing commentary , and he was heard saying that Butler should easily beat Friday , how wrong he was.. LOL ..
