**** boxing politics. They're a scourge on the sport. A scourge that allows corrupt politicians like Don King and Frank Warren to push their dodgy policies on dedicated consumers like us who pay their wages time after time after time. In one corner we have Kahn; A heavily protected, spoon-fed, razzle-dazzle kid who won silver in the olympics, and has ever since had everything served to him on a platter... Headlines, sell-out shows and big paychecks for knocking out washouts and bums... In other words, everything that is wrong with boxing.
In the other corner we have Marco Antonio Barrera; A snarling, relentless, and glorious product of the Mexican boxing fraternity, who's always had not but his two fists to protect him. A guy who was called washed up after consecutive losses to Junior Jones, But came back with tough wins and tough losses against some of histories best. Time will tell if boxing has any time for Amir Kahn. Boxing loves Marco Antonio Barrera.

Is this a biased hype thread for the baby faced assassin?
    You bet your ****ing ass!

Puedo decir seguramente que Sydney quiere que Barrera Gana en Sabado. No me importa un carajo si nadie manda un mensaje a este thread, he dicho que quiero decir, vaya Barrera!

No no no... No... NO Sir, you are out of order. Payday or not, you really think Barrera intends to enter the ring without the intention to crush his opponent?

Being a Barrera fan i agree with fat city something feels really off about this fight. However i hope Barrera destroys Khan. Hopefully the Barrera we know and love shows up. WAR BARRERA

Realistically, Khan will have had to have improved beyond belief to win this fight, as the Khan from every other fight he has had would not stand a hope in hell.

I feel a smell of **** around this fight. I guess it's something wrong here and it can easily end as a fake fight. I hope it will not though...

MAB is a legend, but again he should be retired, Khan might make give pay for not quiting.

Knowing Barrera he obviously has the intention, like always. But wanting to do it and being able to do it are two different things mate.
One thing is for sure: I will be rooting my *ss of for Barrera to decapitate Khan.
But the fact that Barrera IMMEDIATELY started drinking after the weigh-in (which he barely made) shows some concern about his physical condition.

I don't think theres anything sinsiter behind this fight, its as simple as Roach beleiving MAB to be shot and wanting Khan to get the impressive looking win on his record. Time will tell if Roach is right.
