Does Harrison stand any chance against McCloskey tonight?

Don't know anything about Harrison tbh.

His record seems to be padded with guys who have losing records and his only loss came when he stepped up in class against Haywood.

probably not but McCloskey doesnt seem like the sort of guy that blows anyone away in 1 round. It will last longer than some recent FFN mis matches (Cleverly, Brook)

Hope so to the undercard is ****

I can see it being a worse beating than the Lynes fight.

Harrison has a lot more than what he showed lastnight, but to be fair McCloskey looks different class. Remember the Haywood fight Dean took at less than a weeks notice away from home, a lot of people had him winning that fight, boxing writers etc. He also took last nights fight at only 2 weeks notice.

McLoskey was absolutely sensational last night.... Harrison forgot to move to move his head.... once. But Paul looks potential world class.

That has always seemed a bit of a problem with Dean tbh. I also think he didn't get in close enough and bully McCloskey like he has done other fighters (usually brings hi success), obviously he probably couldnt, I agree, only seen McCloskey's fight lastnight and Lynes, but from those definitely looks like he could do something at world level.

Harrison has nice balance and looks massive at light welter but he was just completely stagnant. I don't know how he got up from the first knockdown. He migt come back and do ok but at that level you need a defence and a creative offence and he had neither. He literally just stood at middle distance getting popped.

People are starting to see the potential of McCloskey. I don't think he was at his absolute best last night either, he was a bit sloppy and overconfident in defence. I've seen him get hit less against better opposition than Harrison. He also neglected his jab more, he actually has an awesome jab.

His speed and variety...and the key thing is his TIMING, is awesome. Some of the shots he times from crazy angles are amazing.

I'll be honest I was not impressed against Lynes... first round he looked embarrasingly easy to hit... He was also in a spotof bother but there was something special about that last night...

There is something special about all his fights, they are on YouTube. Bazan and Tontchev, two good level opponents especially.

Except Nigel Wright. That was an inside snoozefest.

I must say I like McCloskey and congratulate him on the successful British title defence. There is definitely something there. Everytime I see him I see things that I like.

Definitely we don't avoid anybody. 1st preference obviously is Junior Witter and a world title fight but clearly a fight with McCloskey will have to happen sooner or later. The Irish kid can fight.
