that article don't make sense. because Duran was a lightweight and was able to to beat Sugar Ray then floyd can beat him too, right?:bart floyd never had Duran's style, especially at welterweight, floyd would be at his weakest, slowest, and most susceptible for a ko. i don't think he beats a prime oscar much less a prime legend in his prime like SRL. hello, floyd got beat by castillo in the first fight! it's just as bad a whitaker's draw with chavez. floyd ain't undefeated that's bull**** and only true boxing fans know this

At welterweight, this is not an interesting match-up, it is a stroll in the park for Leonard, he'd win every round and maybe score a stoppage, I'd even say a stoppage is likely if it was a 15 round fight.

Being a natural sfw and beating guys like Judah, Baldomir and Hatton does not mean you belong in the same ring as one of the elite natural 147lbs fighters of all-time.

Still if mayweather was in those times he wouldn't want to face him.

Do you mean Mayweather wouldn't want to fight SRL or SRL wouldn't want to fight Mayweather? SRL took on Benitez, Duran & Hearns at 147 so no ****ing way he fears Mayweather! Mayweather on the other hand never seemed too keen on having Margarito chasing him around the ring, so I doubt he'd have been able to sleep at night if he was around in the same era as Tommy Hearns - and Leonard KO'd him!

mi amigo in those times i think floyd would be worried more about Aaron "The Hawk" Pryor or Wilfredo "El Radar"Benitez than Leonard.:D i'd give floyd a tiny chance of beating Benitez, but Pryor would be a nightmare for floyd. actually for anyone, but honestly floyd has nothing to hurt Leonard. he would win some rounds, but Leonard would connect to floyds body and face and slow him down. it would be close, but leonard takes this without a doubt

I said Mayweather wouldn't have the guts to face him just like he ain;t got the guts to fight todays welterweights.

Ray Leonard would take this. Not even close. Ray Leonard 117-111 at the very least

ARL late KO SRL matchs PBF speed plus SRL can punch and take a punch. He fought Duran at his fight and last 15 rounds, that tells me a lot about his chin, so he can take PBF pittypat all night and come back with his own punches and I don't think PBF can take SRL ppunches in bunches.

It should have been a boring fight. Both are runners in the ring.

I see Leonard stopping Mayweather late. SRL is naturally too big and has more speed, power, heart.

I freakin' despise Leonard, but he was a great welterweight and was also a natural one.Mayweather's a natural lightweight.Leonard had freakish natural talent and was a sorcerer.Leonard by 8th round knockout.

So Floyd thinks he tha man by telling Sugar Ray Leonard he lost to a lightweight, who wasn't just "any" lightweight, considered by most the greatest lightweight of all time, and yet he got beat by Jose Luis Castillo in their first fight. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Yea, you tellem Floyd. Floyd is a great fighter, but he'll never have the guts or the punching power Leonard had. Castillo was flat footed too and beat his ass. Listen to the commentators, all of them had Castillo winning and as great as Castillo was, he was no Duran.
