    thats a big if.

If its 4 million guaranteed + a 60% cut of the fight revenue, then its enough.

If Pavlik's team is that confident of their fighter to stop AA, than this offer is pretty good - about the money, Pavlik received for his fight vs. Hopkins...

No, it would be a guaranteed purse and nothing more...Germany works a whole lotta different than the US - this won't be PPV...not even in the US.

And Pavlik got his $3 million purse vs. Hopkins by fighting on PPV...

if Abraham's team is that confident of their fighter to stop Kelly Pavlik, then they will offer him more money.

Don't think so. The financial limits in Germany are reached faster than in the US.
A fight between AA and Sturm has a financial volume of about $5 million and that's just b/c both are Germans and well known to the public...

then that means they are not ready to have the fight yet. If Abraham can become a big name in the USA and Pavlik can erase the shadow of his loss to Hopkins, then it will be a really huge fight.

Than this means they will never be ready to make this one in Germany...I don't think that Arum could finance the fight in the US without having it as a PPV, even if AA has 1-2 showcases beforehand...

Sauerland's offer would mean free to Air in Germany, Setanta in the UK and normal HBO WCB in the US...

This fight should really happen - things like this really make me want to have a boxing-league, in which the undisputed champ is determined every 2 years or so.

@Tom_Tocca: You seem to have great insides, are you part of team Sauerland?

Boxing is where the money is...but IMO Arum understands this and there is far more action behind the scenes than we might ever get to know...

The money from german TV ARD!

Every citizen in germany had to pay for this bul**** every month. It is a shame, Sauerland can play the dirty games with this money.

I have no problem paying them and every countries public TV system works different...though, it's better than €50 PPV for every big fight or commercials after every round...

Abraham looks like a monster to me. Can't see Pavilk's handlers letting him anywhere near the man
