Medinas best results came AFTER his loss to Naz, and I dont think Tom Johnson was ever in the same class as Kelly, also add in the fact that Naz fought both of those guys in the UK whilst he went to NY to knock out Kelly, but hey, its a game of opinions

Medina had won the IBF and WBC world titles before he fought Hamed, and Medina's best win was probably over Johnson, again, before the Hamed fight.

What makes you think Johnson wasn't in the same class as Kelley? :huh
What had Kelley done that was so much better than a man who had succesfully defended his IBF title 11 times?

    Naz destroying Steve Robinson.

I live right bang in South Wales, Swansea. I was a 14 year old School pupil at the time. You wouldnt believe all the **** my fellow Welsh people were speaking

Robinson be too big, too strong, too experienced.

I said Naz would destroy him - dont give a **** if Robinson was Welsh - wanted Naz to destroy him.

So much **** was spoken - even know it all school teachers were saying on the Friday before the fight Robinson is too big and strong and teach this Hamed a lesson.

I knew Naz was a different class and he destroyed Robinson much to my satisfaction.

Yeah. Medina had won the same amount of world titles (2) as Kelley, when Naz fought them both. Medina's were more recent, and I would say his excellent prior win over Johnson was better than anything Kelley had on his record, although I would need to look into that in more detail.

The point is, its silly to say Naz fighting Kelley was a "huge step up in class", because Naz had already fought Johnson and Medina, and I haven't seen an argument that suggests Kelley was "another class" to those two fighters.

Yeah, Naz took the fight on short notice, and moving up in weight. Great win. Especially considering how young and inexerienced Naz was at the time.

That fight broke my heart - and it's one of the biggest reasons I hate Naz.
